I was reading some reviews about Hotel Breakers on Trip Advisor, and noticed a managers response to one of the reviews. He stated that, as of Memorial weekend, all the rooms now had wi-fi.
Anyone have any feedback on this?

Girlfriend and I stayed at Breakers May 22-24. Wi-fi was in the atrium of the old section near the lobby but we in room 3320 couldn't get a signal. Hopefully that's no longer the case.
Considering employee housing got a massive upgrade over the winter, I wouldn't be surprised if the hotels got one as well.

No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
When I was at the beach yesterday my phone kept notifying me that Hotel Breakers had Wi-Fi.

Nothing like going on a good old fashion camping trip and using the Internet. Honestly, if you are that desperate to use the net, either get a room at breakers instead or bring a personal hotspot. If you stay at CP it would only be for a couple nights so you shouldn't be to concerned about needing wifi.
Actually, although I basically agree with a no internet on vacation approach, if I was camping on the Point, I'd want the ability to check weather radar and NWS warnings.

I did a Disney cruise in February, and when three days without using the Internet. It was completely liberating.

I can confirm. I stayed the week before Memorial day, and maintenance in breakers were setting up multiple routers from the ceilings in the hallways. (They had about 1 router every 30 feet). We asked and they said It was all ready to go, they just needed the green light from the company.
Just stayed at Breakers this past Thursday and Friday -- no wifi in the old twin section -- the signal came in but you couldn't connect...hopefully that is eventually worked out because the ATT signal in that hallway also doesn't come in well....

Who are you to decide if someone should be concerned about having wifi?
Personally, I would find a lot of value in wifi at camper village. Any higher end campground around the country usually offers wifi, most times for free. I fail to understand why camper village, at $90+ per night, does not.
We typically don't even take a laptop or any other device that requires wifi with us when we travel. We don't visit Cedar Point or any other destination to sit in our room or our motorhome on the computer, can do that at home.
Cedar Point fans since when Blue Streak was still the " big one".
This conversation could take place 20 years ago, just replace "WiFi" with "cell phone". But in this age, WiFi really should be available everywhere, especially at a place like Cedar Point.

Unless I'm currently teaching an online course, (which happens from time to time) we actually purposely, 100% disconnect from the internet. No email, no P-Buzz (sorry), no Facebook...just...us.

You mean the age of entitlement? Maybe they want the thrills to connect you.

If you are so connected to the Internet that you cannot be away from it for anywhere from a 2-3 day vacation, then you may have a small addiction. It is one thing if you have a job and need to keep up with work but you should be able to stay away from the Internet for a few days.
You might feel differently if you have a young child who goes to bed by 9.

And Gatekeeper, it's a choice. I'm actually inclined to agree that it's becoming (for good reason) an expectation. If I want to disconnect, I pull the plug...but even with that idea in mind, what if I had or wanted to? It would be nice to make that choice.
If I was hiking the Appalachian Trail, I don't expect Wi-Fi.
Cedar Point? Like it or not...yea, I would expect it. Frankly, I'm surprised to hear how hit or miss it is.

It's funny how camping at Camper Village (a very modern campground) next to several million dollars worth of high tech amusement attractions is "old fashioned", yet being able to check the weather via the Internet somehow isn't. Pretty arbitrary line you're drawing there.
