Wind and being near the lake has absolutly nothing to do with how high the coaster can go. Trust me on this.

Ok. Here it goes.....I live in Northern Virginia. I have a season pass to PKD in Richmond. I go to CP every year and stay about a week. And to hear that CP is going to build a TOPHAT like Hypersonic at PKD makes me very disappointed. Yeah it's cool. Yeah it's fun. Yeah it's a 16 second ride!! PKD spent $9 million on 16 seconds and 80+ mph. I can do that in my car. Hypersonic never opens until 1 p.m. now. B/c it can't run all day. And after it opens it has at least 2 break downs. This is with the NEW AND IMPROVED trains.

I just think if CP wants to break records they shouldn't do it this way. Just like S:TE at SFMM. It's the easy way to break some records. It would just be disappointing. Something Like Deja Vu at SFMM would be nice, but it would strike some kind of battle that would go on and on for ever. Just my 2 sense.

What we're pretty sure of is that is going to be an Intamin rocket coaster, that's a different type of ride than S&S's Hypersonic. And all we have a clue about is the tophat, whatever is after the tophat is a mystery.

Please, NOT something like Deja Vu. The problems that the one at SFGAm has had is bad enough, but the capacity is terrible.

Even though the Intamin rocket coaster is different than the S&S hypersonic, I live far enough away from PKD that I wouldn't mind having something similar much closer to me.
