Good Grief, I was thinking more of trying to find people to ride rides with, like a few of us did after the opening day lunch. I just don't feel like wandering the park all day on my own.

Me neither, since I will be going to the event by myself. I would not mind getting together with some people here to wander the park..

We could all meet at Chick-fil-A for some expensive basket meals and take a ride on Maverick afterwards.

If I can make it, meeting at Chick-fill-a is fine. Although, I would recommend not eating there, as lunch is included with Coastermania.

Which means I would have to leave my house at 2:30am... wow. It may be better for us to do ERT on our own and meet afterwards. Then we can do Night time ERT as a group. I will probably be just arriving at the park at 6am, unless I decided on getting a hotel room the night before. But I don't have the money for two nights and really would like to have a room the night after.

My brother and I are staying at a nearby campground for a couple of nights. It's the perfect price for those who like to "rough it!"

Yeah, good idea to meet later. 430am is really early and I'm not getting a hotel or anything for it so I'm just going to be consuming a lot of caffeine.

I think in 2003 that was a record year for Coastermania, but the following year or 2005, CP decided that only ONE guest could come with a club member. It used to be up to THREE guests/club member.

Thank God they limited it, otherwise it'd be like a normal day at the park with only a few rides being open.

eat. sleep. ride! - Coaster apparel and accessories!
Ride on, MrScott!
I saw a huge difference in the ERT's and lunchtime. It is hard though, picking the ONE person who you are going to take with you. But overall I am glad they limited the number of guests you can bring.

I've never been to a CM before, but would assume there's enough people there as club members.

Anyone else notice that the coastermania website doesn't work anymore? It just reroutes to the cedar point homepage.
I was just checking it to find out what rides are with what times for the ERTs.
Terror Island Screamster 08', 09', 10', 11'
That's odd. I just looked at the other day.
Anyway, the times from the flyer are:
6-8am Maverick
6-8:30 Millennium Force
7-8:30 Skyhawk
Raptor was added to morning ERT after the flyer was made, so I would guess it will be 6-8:30 as well.
Noon-1pm Q&A
2-3:30 Lunch
10:30-midnight Power Tower
10:30-midnight Magnum
10:45-12:30a Top Thrill Dragster
^^ I noticed that to. You can still find the flyer on Coasterbuzz at:
http://www.coasterbuzz.com/pdf/CoasterMania2007.pdf
Scroll down for Coastermania since this flyer has both that and CoasterEXT on it.

Has there been any plans cemented about a ride take over or just a meeting up place and time? I missed out on opening day and would like to meet a few buzzers.
^^ I don't think any definite plans have been made, but I'm sure that some of us will be hanging out at the main gate before 6. I plan to be there as early as possible.
