Drive north to Detroit. Except for the Point I hear Sandusky translates in Italian to mean 'void of life.'

I hear 99% of the cities and towns in America translate the same way. At least Sandusky has Cedar Point (and the islands nearby and indoor waterparks, etc.).
Aside from Club X, my roomies and I always went to Old Dutch (awesome hamburgers!!!) to relax after work. It's a dive...but has great, greasy diner food.
The Dutch is amazing! There is absolutely nothing like burgers, yards, and volleyball.

Shut it, you. If free cheap clothing is not a worthy reason to binge drink, I don't know what is.

Haha.. I was just pointing out the amount of money you spent on your 'free' t-shirt. Not that I don't have one from last year, and I definitely didn't help you get this one, nope.. :)
The Old Dutch is the best! Steakburgers on thursday and sand volleyball in the summer. Also, if you like hanging out with us locals, try Terry's tavern in Bay View. You won't be disappointed!
My family goes to Terry's tavern at least once a week... how funny that you mention it on here, I didn't think anyone else knew about it other than us BayViewers! Don't advertise it too much or our little town of Bay View will be crowded by all these out-of-towners trying to get a taste of the best Sandusky Bay atmosphere!
I heard of the underground speakeasy but i never went... What kind of people hung out there?

I remember the old Bonnie and Clyde's, cool place with a bowling alley in the back. My favorite was always Daley's and also the Brass Pelican right across the street.
I believe I spent even more getting my 'Dutch' shirt. I went with the half-yard option as opposed to the yard option.
24 half yards may be more expensive than 12 yards, but the yard just seemed to get too warm by the time I got to the bottom. In addition to the delicious Dutch Burgers... the cheese balls are pretty unhealthily delicious as well!

Sorry, but 5 beers in the summer sun, in a plastic glass tend to get warm pretty dang quickly.
2.5 at a time... thats fairly consumable :-)
The other charming thing about the Dutch is the fact that the taps for the beer come right out of the wall.
One other note: At the Dutch, If you arent willing to cheer (or at least fake cheering) for Ohio State and/or the Cleveland teams, it's best you keep quiet. I was there last season for the Cavs/Pistons game, and I just sat silently...
