Chaos is for sale.

The fact that Skyhawk is still very new and very recent, combined with the fact that they just now got it tuned (systems wise) to where it needs to be tells me that no, Skyhawk is going nowhere.

I strongly agree with the SRF theory, based on the the park lacking a family flume ride, replace a maintenance nightmare/not so popular/good for three months out the season ride with a WWL-esque ride and you've got a hit.

Every year DT and DD are mentioned as "goners'" and we have yet to see that happen, though that area does provide excellent staging for almost any type of attraction, I think the new development is happening closer to SRF.

Chaos being removed means nothing beyond the park ridding itself of another headache, and why remove it during the middle of the season?

coolkid, I don't see how Skyhawk fits in with frontier theming. I do agree that I don't see them moving it eathier though. They wouldn't have put it in that spot, just to move it a few years later.

Mean Streak is in the way of a large new attraction. ;) It is a very beautiful coaster. Too bad it wasn't a little less rough.

Skyhawk fits in the sense that the old west is an inevitable piece of American history, represented by the red, white, and blue colors.

I never ride Skyhawk, so I didn't know what colors it was painted.

Seems pretty soon since the ride is only 12 years old.
