I am possibly working at CP this summer and i was curious if these dorms are really as terrible as everyone blows them up to be. Can you get to the employee rec center from Cedars...thanks for your help

You have to ride a bus to get to the rec center. The only Rec. center at Sweedars is the Power Shower Hour. If that is your bag GO for it and don't drop the soap.

Of course no one has mentioned the good things about Cedars/Gold, so I will. Walking distance to the park and work. Ability to "run home" quickly if anything is forgotten or to take a quick break or shower.
Incredibly cheap prices, historic building :)

Thanks to this board...the commons dorms are sounding much more appealing...my friend who is an ATL on Demon Drop this year said that Bayside is already filled...how is this?

I'm thinking about living at Cedars because I'm always running late and I'd be able to get to work fast without having to wait for a bus! ;-) Does anyone have a website with pictures of the building/rooms at Cedars, because the CP website doesn't show much. Also, if you live at Cedars, do you get close parking, and is it free? Or do you have to park somewhere off-point and take a bus to the dorms? Thanks!

Parking for onpoint housing residents, by non supervisors, is regular employee parking, which is rows 1 through 8or12 of the main lot, the blue streak lot (good for Cedars People) and sometimes the Gemini Lot.
Inside, imagine a run-down cabin, that pretty much it. Its still a lot of fun.
hehehehe
