[url][url]For anyone with FB, here's the first construction pic of windseeker they've posted.
As for East of Chicago, won't miss it. Ate there one time this past season. Pizza wasn't that great, except for the cinnamon desert one, and the floors and tables looked like they hadn't been cleaned in weeks.
As for a DQ going in, will probably continue to support the local ice cream shops instead, as they are right on the way home.
Is Chet and Matt's as good as all the hype? We have lived in Sandusky a year now, and haven't made it there to eat yet.
One of the few Mean Streak lovers left in the world.
C&M is indeed fantastic. I've been there only twice but it was enough to love the place. And I too wont miss East of Chicago. Last I was there it was a complete mess and they had some not so fresh pizza that day. Heck I loved the place the very first time I went in it. But sadly not anymore.

I highly suggest C&M's dinner buffet. Pizza, wings (they have awesome wing sauces) and salad. I believe it was $9.99 the last time I went. They also have a cheaper lunch buffet, but the wings aren't included.
And if you're ordering pizza, the chicken alfredo pizza is the best!
Chet and Matts is great.
The thirsty pony has some killer chicken wings and towers of beer.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.
Hmmm so I'm wondering if the new wood on the track is just where that photo was taken or if it covers the whole span of the run for MS?

They change out large sections of wood every year on MS. That way they dont have to do the whole span. Every year during the off season there are like four new truckloads of wood sitting on meanstreak curve that they use.
Also Rock Band was a one year contract since the beginning, it is now going to other CF parks but CP was the first to get it.
I'm a pizza aficionado so I dont understand the love of C&M its just like most buffet pizza to me bland. The specialites are ok but I'm a classic Italian style guy. I drive 2 hours away for a pie from Fricanos almost monthly.
2007 to present CPPD
^ I've never not seen the specialty pizzas on the buffet. Hot wing & cheddar and chicken alfredo (my two favorites) are practically always there.
Being someone who has worked in a pizzeria in Windsor, Ontario (the unofficial pizza capital of Canada) I feel like I could make a fortune in the Sandusky area. When I hear people say they like pizza at the park or Chet and Matt's I cringe. Come to Windsor and visit Capri, Naples, Antoninos, Caboto Club, or Ciociaro Club pizzerias and you will never look at Sandusky's soggy cardboard the same way again.
We'll miss you MrScott and Pete
I cant remember what C&M's pizza tastes like honestly. It's been quite a while since I've had their pizza. I think the last time I was there, I got some kind of sandwich instead. lol

I went to Capri, and I must say delicious, very pricey but also a different taste and style but it can be appreciate as a great pizza.
But to top it all, Buddys pizza, in detroit is by far the best Iv ever had. Its on the middle of a street you would never expect it to be, very hard to find since the sign they have is so worn out you can barely make out the letters. I Waited two hours for pizza and it was a truley amazing experience.

I hear a lot of commercials for Buddys pizza. I'll have to give it a try some time.

Vince if your in Michigan you need to try Fricano's Pizzeria the original is in Grand Haven. It is contested as the original pizzeria in MI opened shortly after WWII. Still under the same family ownership they have a line out the door and around the corner everyday during the summer. People come there from all over the U.S. and even order them through the mail becaus ethey need their fix. They only do classic style and you must get it with the Sausage it is a secret family recipe. I also have worked in the Pizza business a small mom and pop business and I hear you on opening a actual pizza place in Sandusky.
Just got back from my winter tour and there is definitely no new paint at all on Millennium. Sorry all! :)

Grand Haven would be quite the trek. However if I'm ever out that way for some reason I'll keep that in mind.
