Cedarpoint offseason tour pictures.

Took a tour of the park yesterday.

Not much going on at the windseeker site yet. I would guess that after the first of the year something will start up. Ocean motion is sitting in the parking lot next to disaster transport.

A few notes about next year...

Rockstar is being axed for a new show

East of Chicago is being replaced by a dairy qween.

The kiddie land merry go round was missing a lot of horses. Maybe it's getting a refurb this year.

Here are a bunch of pictures from inside the park yesterday. Enjoy........

what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

TheHSBR, that tour was for Great Ohio Coaster club members. Another way you can get a winter tour is by winning the Coastermania Film Festival. I won this years film festival and I'm awaiting the perfect time to go to the park in a full snow setting to optimize great photo ops. That's partly why I opted out of this tour.

That's really cool. Does Coasterbuzz! do anything like that for their members? I'm thinking about picking up a membership that gets me into CoasterMania! next year somewhere.

CB members get a "lights on" tour of one of the HW attractions at BooBuzz, a walkback at HoliWood Nights (Holiday World) and stuff like that, depending on the event and such.

Great picks Crazy Horse. Thanks for sharing.

I remember going to CP once in the winter time when I was a young boy as a guest of an adult who had business there. I found it eerie. The silence, save for a few birds and the wind, was peaceful and disturbing at the same time. Some of your pictures captured that quite well.

I don't think CoasterBuzz has ever had an Off Season event. He was going to try and do one for the 10th anniversary of the site. But, it never happened.

Great pictures. It's always interesting to see the rides in "sleep mode".

The East of Chicago is the one across from the Mcdonald's on the causeway?

Cool pictures, thanks for sharing.

Good thing the weather in Sandusky during your tour wasn't anything like it was up here in Minneapolis on that same day, you probably wouldn't have lasted outside very long.

Even more reason to drive the extra 5 minutes to Chet and Matt's to enjoy some real pizza. :)

Or why not just eat the pizza in the park?:)

Because it tastes like a week old, reheated-by-microwave slice of crap.

After not being too excited about the Rock Band show when it was first announced, I ended up seeing it numerous times and liked it more each time. While each show was basically the same, having different (audition winning) cast members fro each show made it more interesting. Sorry to see that show leaving.

Looks like Chaos may in fact be gone. It was one of my favorite flats.

Good pictures. Why don't they just put the cow in the Frontier Trail barn were cows belong.

Yes, we missed the snow by a day and the gale force winds by two! It wouldn't have been as much fun with the ice and below zero wind chills.
