Surprised it's only 301 feet. Glad to hear they're planning on a "dramatic" lighting package.Maybe that's as high as Mondial would go?
Given that the other rides are identical, and that $5 million is relatively inexpensive, and that Kinzel probably would have ordered a taller version for his crown jewel, you're probably right.
I have to think you guys are on the money with those comments. I hate to say it but this ride is a lot less intimidating at 301 feet and 25 MPH. Can anyone recall CF going with a blanket installation like this in the past? Financially this seems like a good deal but I am very concerned that this is a prototype ride and CF just committed to four of them!
As a side note, the last two hype campaigns have ended with announcements of fairly tame family-style rides (I kind of view Windseeker as a family style thrill ride - it does not have the same wow factor as maXair or Skyhawk and will be a good thrill ride that families can conquer together). I am a little of surprised by that.

CP, or any other park or business for that matter, will always do whatever they can to get potential guests' attention. Yes, that includes "hyping" family rides. That's the entire point of marketing, isn't it?

Crazy Horse is gonna love King's Island's ride. As of now it has no height restriction. When they change it then all hell will break loose. :)
"Height Requirement: None" :)

Let's Get Weird.
If this thing is as smooth and graceful as it looks it should be a killer ride.
Can't wait to ride.
