Hey at least they are adding lights "Dramatic light package"
Not like they keep the other light packages they already have in working order.......
wow... i knew this was coming, but still disappointing. CF the new six flags.
The only one that has any difference is knott's. They have a big K on top of theirs.
not sure all the us models have a ufo top
If i am wrong tell me
I am not prefect neither is anyone else
I honestly don't think it's THAT awful of a ride. I think the height enough would give enough thrill and it seems interesting enough to ride. It doesn't look as tacky as I thought it was going to look either. Haha.
I like how it sits out on the beach. I don't see the need for them to remove ocean motion. It makes me believe after listening to the video clips that there will more to the beach front in the future.
KI's will be near Vortex's ride exit. Sounds like it might go where Flight Commander was? I'm not sure I feel so great about that.

Surprised it's only 301 feet. Glad to hear they're planning on a "dramatic" lighting package.Maybe that's as high as Mondial would go?
Given that the other rides are identical, and that $5 million is relatively inexpensive, and that Kinzel probably would have ordered a taller version for his crown jewel, you're probably right.
I have to think you guys are on the money with those comments. I hate to say it but this ride is a lot less intimidating at 301 feet and 25 MPH. Can anyone recall CF going with a blanket installation like this in the past? Financially this seems like a good deal but I am very concerned that this is a prototype ride and CF just committed to four of them!
As a side note, the last two hype campaigns have ended with announcements of fairly tame family-style rides (I kind of view Windseeker as a family style thrill ride - it does not have the same wow factor as maXair or Skyhawk and will be a good thrill ride that families can conquer together). I am a little of surprised by that.
Hey where's the comments that this ride is going to replace the space spiral, to make room for the new roller coaster in 2012. . :)
GATEKEEPER-I came, I rode, I was mildly disappointed; until a second ride (rear left) put GateKeeper back on the...it's a nice ride list.
Ok, that was 'fun'.
Can someone please start the 2012 Ride Watch thread now.

I am a little of surprised by that.
CP, or any other park or business for that matter, will always do whatever they can to get potential guests' attention. Yes, that includes "hyping" family rides. That's the entire point of marketing, isn't it?

Crazy Horse is gonna love King's Island's ride. As of now it has no height restriction. When they change it then all hell will break loose. :)
"Height Requirement: None" :)

Let's Get Weird.
If this thing is as smooth and graceful as it looks it should be a killer ride.
Can't wait to ride.
I find it hilarious that CP did about 3 or so months of PR related to their ride and KI did 24 hours worth. What is going on in this company? It's almost as if someone called KI on Sunday and informed them they were one of the parks drawn out of a hat.

So this is why Funtime was mad...they thought they were getting $20 million but now they arent. :)
