Honestly, I think that's what will happen. I really don't see them adding another 30 minutes to the pay table.

OK our lazy asses were never out of bed early enough in the past to utilize ERT so could someone break it down for me as to when JC members were allowed in for ERT and when the public was permitted to start riding last year?
I understand JC members will be permitted to start riding those specific coasters at 9 AM this year but will the GP still be permitted on at 9:30 like I think I understood they were last year?

Ride on, MrScott!
Last year it was JC/resorts at 9 AM (11 AM on Halloweekend Saturdays) and 9:30 for everyone else. So while most rides wouldn't open until closer to 10, the "regular" guests could start riding the rides that opened early at 9:30.
And then one day you find ten years have got behind you
No one told you when to run, you missed the starting gun
Last year:
9:00 ERT riders admitted
9:30 General Public admitted, and may begin riding any open rides
10:00 Official Park Opening
My proposal for this year:
9:00 ERT riders admitted
10:00 Gernal public admitted, and may begin riding any open rides
10:00 Official Park Opening
EDIT: Chris beat me to it. :)

So let me get this straight, ERT starts at 8:30 this year?!
If so, David, you BET I'm going to be at opening day earlier than previously planned!!:)
I guess 5:45 will be the new T.O.A.

I don't think anything regarding the times of the ERT have been announced yet.

2. There will be 1 or 2 (i forget which) new restaurants this year. With DIFFERENT FOOD!!! He didn't say what the restaurants will be because they are still in negotiations.
With the opening of SkyHawk in 2006 and Maverick next summer, I think that we can predict a new food option in Frontiertown. I also believe that a change with Macaroni is another possibility.
I would appreciate if one of the new menu is about Asian food.
About these new restaurants being run by chains. Why doesn't Cedar Point pull chains from the area, local restaurants that are unique to the area. I like how at Kings Island they have restaurants that are Cincinnati institutions, like LaRosa's Pizza, Skyline Chilli, or Montgomery Inn Ribs. Why doesn't Cedar Point do something like this, and give the people a taste of Sandusky? I'd like to see the park promoting the area's local food establishments.
Have you really tasted Sandusky born food? I rest my case. ;)

My opinion was that they should let resort guests in at 9am, Joe Cool in at 9:30 and everyone in at 10. In any case, I like this better than what the had in previous year..
The percentage of JCC guests compared to resort guests (on most days) really wouldn't make a difference in ERT numbers. There's no reason to hold off until 9:30 for JCC when there's not even enough to make a noticeable difference to the resort people. It would only result in more angry guests.

I just know when we did the "ERT" the weekend we stayed on property, we were all sorely disappointed when we got to the rides. We went in right when they said we could, and by the time we briskly walked to MF, there was already an hour wait. We were like, "Uh, WTF kind of ERT is this?" LOL!! We weren't really upset because we still got in "early", but we definitely didn't feel "important" or that staying on property was that big of deal.

Well, actually I haven't, I always eat park food or stop at McDonald's or something on the way up. Is Sandusky food really that bad? Are there no good restaurants unique to Sandusky?
An hour of ERT?! Sweeeet. :) It sounds like they've made some really good changes for this year, though it will be interesting to see what kind of restaurants go in. I kind of hope they serve something unique. Can't wait to find out!
But, this 3 Point Challenge game, what exactly is that? It's not the game where the prizes are those horrid little basketballs, is it? If I have to get hit with one more of those things while walking down the midway...
It's called Millennium Force, not "Millenium" Force. Thanks.
This'd be the 3 Point Challenge:

Let's Get Weird.
Even Marco's Pizza is something that disappears quickly once you start going into southern Ohio.
I bet Subway or some "healthy" restaurant would do well. Th only reason we didn't go on as many "mini-vacations" this year is my parents couldn't easily find affordable places to eat healthy.
^ I apologize if that's hard to read. I'm in a rush...
Summer was made for a Cedar Point day~
