Back after the great depression there were no roller coasters. Most had either been burnt down or they had let them go to waste because no one could afford the up keep. People were not even sure if you built a roller coaster that the public would still want to ride one.
Along comes Kings Island and John Allen. They decide to build the first major installment of a coaster after the Great Depression, the Racer. At the time it was the tallest and fastest in the world. The general public loved it and the coaster revival began.
So, no. Without Kings Island and the foresight to see that the public would still want coasters then we would not even be having this discussion.
My name is Ryan. Anyway. If there is any chance of rescuing this topic at least let me try.Yes. Every employee gets into Cedar Point for free in their off time. You also get into every other Cedar Fair owned park. A list of which can be found here: http://cedarfair.com/ Cedar Point does schedule trips to some of the different parks. There is usually at least one or two trips to Kings Island. Employees themselves also schedule trips with their friends too.
