The prize for the dance crew was $2000.
The DJ said multiple times that her guitar did not arrive at the airport, so there was some warning of delay.
I really don't know what all the complaining is about. I'm trying to think of times lat night that I saw people mad or disappointed. I can't think of any. I remember constant cheers and smiles.
Edit thanks to Mike. :)

Well you don't really know since you were part of it. Apparently you had to have not watched the concert and look up facebook comments to have a real opinion about how well the entire thing went. ;)

I'm not sure how that's possible, unless she has some kind of gee-whiz, freaky, quantum guitar that can both arrive at the airport and not arrive--multiple times, even...

^^Sounds like a guitar Peter Higgs would own. (lol anyone?)
And Zach, you were part of the experience, which negates you from having any kind of opinion. ;)

This has made me laugh a lot! This song though, I'm currently in a production of The Merchant of Venice and the company is starting to use youtube to promote their shows. This last weekend they wrote a parody of this song to fit the "lovers" in the show.... we are haveing to record it and film a video this weekend. This did the same thing last year with Midsummer Night's Dream and Juntin Bieber's Baby.
They do this than say thay want to be the primere Shakespear Company in town...

Fear Faire 2010-2011
At 6:30 we found a spot to watch the concert. They were doing the dance competion at the time. It was still very hot and sunny. By 7 some clouds moved in and the breeze picked up making things much more comfortable. By then the DJ was on and they were blasting music. As time went on storm clouds were moving in over the lake. I was thinking if this singer doesn't get on soon a storm may hit and she'll miss out on her 15 minutes of fame. The storm clouds stayed over the lake. I've been to many concerts that didn't start on time, so this wasn't totally unexpected. Yet, I was getting a bit annoyed by 8PM. I noticed some people were giving up on the concert by this time. A large family next to us left to go on rides. I myself never heard the DJ mention any delay. I could have missed it. He kept promoting the radio station and playing the songs over again. People by this time were starting to boo him. The show finally started and people were happy. Many did leave after a few songs. She sang her big hit last is was no surprise. The concert was OK.
I saw no real issues with crowd control. The path bogged down a little bit, but for the most part people moved through at a good pace. We were standing behind the path for more than two hours.
The concert ended about 9. Luminousity was scheduled for 9:15. Later they announced it was cancelled for weather reasons. I walked past the stage sometime before 10 and they were still breaking down Jepsons equipment. At about 10:45 they announced Luniousity would start at 11 and it in fact did.
Yeah, Luminosty started at 11:15 which was a nice suprise.
I thought it was funny when, at around 8, the DJ said "You guys better hurry this up I'm running out of music!"

I loved the show :) (which is strange because I'm 18?). I think she sounded really good live
