I'm still trying to figure out who in the hell is Carly Rae Jepsen...

We were planning to go, but with it being 90+ and such not sure if we will. I was going mainly to photograph the event and stuff and see the night show for the first time this season. Still yet to do that once I read the relatively poor reviews for it.

^Where are you reading poor reviews of it? Most, even on this site, have been positive.

I'll be there, but working. She starts her show right before my last show of the day starts so no chance of actually being able to watch it.

Not really my kind of show but if I was there I would stop and watch it.

On this site... Just scanning the thread many are disappointed and expected better... Poor dancing, singing, etc... I have read a few good ones, but more that I have personally read have been lack-luster. Not that other opinions really matter that much, but it brought down my excitement to go see the show... As well as the extremely hot temps so I would rather just go to a waterpark instead!

Cedar Point is really promoting this concert. I hear about it all the time on KISS FM and I was at the park the other day and I heard it atleast 20 times during the day. 4 times in Millennium's queue and it was only a 25 minute wait.

sounds like fun, combination of luminosity show and the hottest song on the radio now.

Her music isn't really my thing, but I applaud Cedar Point for booking this.

It's undeniable that this is one of the biggest songs of the summer, and I think it will be a fun show.

I hope they continue to do more stuff like this just to add some diversity to their entertainment offerings!

I think I'm going. I might just relax in Soak City until the concert.

I personally think the song is annoying, but the online memes that play on the lyrics are really funny. But my music preferences aside, I think it's great Cedar Point got someone who is pretty popular right now to do a concert.

Well I think this will be the true test on how much that area can hold with the new stage.

Maybe Cedar Point will become a nice "stepping stone" venue for musicians when they are right at the cusp of stardom

^I don't think that area will have any problem at all holding people like everyone seems to think. I was in a space last night about the same size and there were 12,000 people in it comfortably.

Next year everyone in the universe will forget who she is.
