Why is that BS? You are there to work and are living on their property. It's no different from any dorm that I lived in.

Everyone always seems to forget the fact there are other options availabe besides CP housing.

Do some research. Sometimes you can find landlords that will let you sign a 6 month lease or even let you do a month to month lease. Get a group of friends and get an apartment. In some cases you might find it cheaper than what you would pay for cedar point housing. Plus you dont have to worry about being searched by CPPD after getting scanned at the gate.

That's a bit harder for a first time worker who doesn't know anyone that they could co-ordinate something like that. It does sound like a good plan for returning workers (kinda like it is for returning students).

It's not BS for those roommates looking to get some sleep. This isn't college life where weekends are freetime. Everyone works everyday, most of the time from open to close, or at least close to it.

Not to say there isn't any fun, but people do want to sleep.
As for the original question. CP offers housing for EMPLOYEES. That's like a college opening their dorms for anyone who wishes to live there.

It actually is turning out to be almost the same price as commons dorms for me and my friends to split an apartment. It seems like a better idea since we get a kitchen and don't have to have 16 people in the apartment.

Furnished or unfurnished? Utilities included, or no?

It is unfurnished except for washer dryer fridge stove...etc. And im unsure about utilities. Ill have to get back with that.

I was just curious. I've looked into it in the past, and by the time you factor in utilities, and everything, you'd have to have 3-4 people in a 1-2 bedroom for the price to be competitive.

That's not that bad though. Kinda like the on-campus apartment I had in college. And if that gets you air-conditioning, a kitchen and no hassles from security, then even better.

Amen I don't miss my dorm one bit. I do miss my two roommates lots of fun times teaching my Ecuadorian roommate our slang. By the end of the year he was a fly boy but had no idea what that meant.

Maybe you could get a new BF while working at Cedar Point. Then you don't need to worry about bringing your BF.

There are alot of Sandusky apartments just not listed online. If you get 4 people in 2 rooms thats less than in the dorms per room and it brings the price to a maximum 200 a month depending on what apartment. The commons dorms would be 120 a month. I think its looking better to get an apartment off Cedar Point property.

The midnight curfew is there for a reason. The safety and security of the employees.
