Maybe the "Full Story" is the possible Gemini rehab. Seems unlikely but maybe.

I think the whole "There is more to the story" thing was simply the audio repeating, on a loop. The beginning of the audio didn't play/was not on, and it picked up mid "phantom speaking"... I feel like the end of the audio hit, and it started playing from the beginning (the beginning we didn't end up hearing).

But, that's only thinking logically.

That doesn't make sense. Why would they start an announcement with "But we're not telling the full story?"

Because at the beginning all they were talking about was upgraded gardens and front entrance plaza, then the "phantom" gatekeeper was supposed to start speaking... which obviously didn't go as planned, since he just stopped speaking and there was a long pause, then unexpectedly the recording started.

Wow! I think some of you won't be satisfied until you turn on your raido, find out that Paul Harvey has risen from the dead and says, "And now you know, the rest of the story. Good Day!"

It's funny that a company the size of Cedar Fair would screw up the unveiling of such a major investment. It looked kind of cheap using the grim reaper character in the first place then they eph up the audio.

To me, it sounded like he said, "but wait, you're not telling the whole story, during the ride..." and then it cut out.

Did anything ever happen with those fake sites that Cedar Point put up before the announcement of Gatekeeper?

The video at 1:03 skips ahead to the block brake section. The "but we're not telling the full story" was simply about Gatekeeper and it came after the video went backwards at 1:20. The video didn't show the keyhole stunt. The keyhole stunt was the full story. It was presented in a very confusing way when presented at the announcement.

In my opinion, the "not the full story" thing was CP preparing to announce that the "wing over drop" was going to be the world's tallest inversion, so maybe they wanted to wait until Full Throttle at Six Flags was announced (because it was rumored to have the world's biggest loop).a. Although, I'm crossing my fingers for another kiddie-coaster, even if it IS implausible.

Also, I liked watching the animation videos on CP's YouTube page and such, but I wonder why they didn't make a promo video (or interviews) like they did with Raptor, TTD, MF etc. And I don't know if I would consider this a promo video:

I feel like the first video was designed more for the announcement. It wasn't edited well in my opinion.

I loved the millennium video, after 12 years, I can say I've never seen that one :)

Wow maybe the full story is that Arrow and B&M are secretly teaming up and are going to make the seats into the X2 seats!!!! It makes a ton of sense now because Cedar Point has 6 Arrow rides and it would be greaty.
