My least favorite is Chaos. It's evil. It tried to eat me, and you have to keep your foot on the damn pedal, and people give you really mean looks when you have to squish the top harness down on them. And Disaster Transport, but that's just because I got all claustrophobic and couldn't breathe after an hour or so. I didn't really get to do enough to like or dislike it.
But on to something new this year, Paddlewheel is going to be fun... yeah, driving the boat, telling the jokes. Yup.

Worst ride to work: Survey says --> kill me kingdom. OMG i was there two days and i was ready to drown myself in the rub-a-dub tubs water. LOL needless to say if you get kiddy kingdom, transfer yourself!
I've also heard bad AND good things about Mantis. All i can say brian is compared to our low zones, yours are insanity...i can't imagine having to lock and unlock and clean those everyday. That's a crazy ride to get going in the morning. good thing Joy was there with me that morning....I'll also never forget seeing you in that suit and those monstrous boots...did you ever find the guys keys?? :) haha

you aren't the only ones who enjoy mean streak. many people do trash it, but it's because the ride was too bumpy. whenever i see it, i'm just in aw that man could build such a complex structure out of wood. it's pretty amazing.

The worst...Mean Streak!! When you go from Gemini to Mean Streak you feel like your working on the train. BORING!! Pretty ride though!! GCA 99 wasnt horrid except for the team leader and the bumper boats "You must have the best job in the park" YUCK, standing in a puddle of water in a uniform older then me that doesnt breathe and trying to slip and slide over to save the kid who just jumped out of his boat from drowning not that cool!!

So what do people think about Iron Dragon? Personally (no Idea why) I would love to work it.
I have never worked the Dragon but I know it would be fun because the crew that is normally there is awsome
Iron Dragon
Good: 3 train operation on at 26 second interval. This means that it’s very fast paced, and you have to be focused at all times. I really liked it when everybody goes into “psychotic speed mode” when a “ready ready” is called. Oh yeah and the spiral staircase is neat, and walking through the woods is also nice. I can imagine that working the Snoopy Summer show deal is a nice change of jobs at night. I also liked doing test runs in the morning because it’s a peaceful and enjoyable ride in the morning. Plus, she looks good at night.
Bad: When there’s no 3 train operation. The pace slows down grately when this happens. Also, make sure that you won’t get hit with water when doing diaper dumps!
Domblerhorn /_\
Good: Matterhorn has a nice tune selection with songs that you don’t hear all the time. And also this ride requires some skill when trying to stop riders’ buckets down by the exit (for those who need it). It has a nice big control room with a fan. This fan is very important in the humid heat that Ohio is known for. Oh yeah and things get really fun when she gets slippery. When it rains, sometimes it seems like the hills have been layered with Crisco. This ride is good as your job will change as the weather changes. I enjoyed it when it rained because I could always talk to the people and make sure they all knew to hold on for dear life on the hills. Even with that, some people go sliding down the hill towards to exit gate.
Bad: I would like to meet the person who installed the turnstile, because the counter is facing the wrong way, and taking the number is a pain. Other than that, I have no complaints on this one.
MF
Good: Soo many spots to work, so you never get bored. Plus you have another person with you at entrance. Test riding in the morning can be fun, if you enjoy a nice intense wake-up procedure.
Bad: This is really nit picky, but it can be frustrating working a ride that always stacks up. If the Powers That Be would give MF some more people to work LOAD, then maybe they would hit interval. Having 4 people load a train with 18 rows really doesn’t do it. Especially when 3 people are at UNLOAD standing around waiting for load to clear. So MF really needs more people (or a redistribution of workers) to really get her moving well. But I think that’s the only bad thing.
Mantis
Good: Eh, Um, I’ll get back to ya on that one. New paint, big control room, and a good station layout, but those are stretching it.
Bad: I only worked this thing for about 4 hours, but I’m glad that’s it. I got sun poisoning while being stuck at entrance (but that’s probably my fault for not wearing sun screen). People will not stand up. Kids with droopy pants can really throw you off in terms of seat adjustments. And also, being a male, I really don’t like jamming the seat into a guys “baby making” region. Because I know it can hurt sometimes. And I’m not out to hurt people.
Cadillac Cars
Good: This is a very unique ride. Very few rides offer you a chance to personally talk and react to guests at Cedar Point. With this ride, you have the chance while taking riders into the station. Also, on caddies, there are 25 independent combustible engines. So with that, something always happens every 20 minutes. There’s never a dull moment in terms of rescuing riders out on the course. Oh and when a monsoon comes in off the lake, its fun to run out and get people under shelter ASAP, while being totally soaked. Especially when the bridge area floods out and the guests physically can’t go anywhere due to high water. Also we get some Ride Prides, to which some are really great people. It’s a good ride at all angles.
Bad: This ride, by design, is a big old work hazard. You must be alert and aware of your surroundings at all times, or else you can get bit, hard. And it won’t tickle either. But it’s also a good thing because it molds you into a more aware and safe worker. Alright back to studying, 3 exams in a 5 hour span today.

Good: Our ride has a significant place in history and in addition to being a personal favorite of many, it is still near the top of many lists. The interval is quick, but still possible to hit 99% of the time. We can play "Magnum Eights" (try to outdo Jimmy and I). There's a good mix of sitting positions and platform positions as well as positions in the sun and in the shade. We are a major ride, not suffering for riders except for first thing in the morning sometimes and yet we don't have an hour line at close. We give more rides than any of those Intamins. Our ride is reliable most of the time. We get to do lift walks and tunnel walks! We don't have to pat down guests coming through our entrance. We have a DJ most of the time which is great for entrance, freeway, and turnstiles.
Bad: There isn't much bad, but there's a couple small things I can think of like the jagged angled wall at the front of the station that causes people to not line up for rows two and three and the freeway ramp was a total cob job. They need better signage or better yet - redo it so that the freeway entrance is alongside the regular entrance. There are too many guests always coming up there thinking it's the regular entrance and sometimes they don't understand why they have to go around. And of course auto-spiels, but that will probably be everyone eventually.
