I think the best time to ride it is when it's open... ;)
Anyways, try and get on it first thing if you get there right when the park opens. The park recommends riding major rides during normal lunch and dinner times, but I'm not sure if that really holds true as being a good time to ride.

Oh come on don't deny it, Dragster will run great this year.:)
Anyway, I agree about riding it right when you get into the park. Lines tend to be short then. And if the line is extending along the fence and back to Iron Dragon, get in it anyway. Even though it looks long(and believe me it does) it's quite a short wait. It's basically because guests havnt been let into the queue.
One time I got 3 rides, in the morning, within 1 1/2 hours and the line was backed up like how I mentioned.

No, I meant no gaurentees that those would be the best times to ride. :)

It's funny, I said that on another forum a few weeks ago and I think they're still discussing why I'm wrong. I stopped checking, you were right.
Back on topic. When TTD was running last season, it usually made it through the entire day with very few delays. Basically, the line moves pretty fast and on the busiest day I went last season the line didn't exceed a hour.

Try to get the very first ride of the day cause when Dragster first warms up the chances of rollbacks are much greater. I remember going right for Dragster last year on both days and ended up with three rollbacks altogether. Two in a row on the second morning.
3 Rollbacks- 2 back to back front row -dead serious- IT WAS THE SH*T!!!!!
That’s exactly what I plan on doing BongKong. I also think another factor for a possible ETRB(early time rollback) is to get the first train. A hard feat, YES, but if you can get first train (which I hope to get opening day:)) then maybe the fact that the hydraulics aren’t use to the weight of a fully loaded train can help in getting a rollback. That is assuming they fill all 18 seats of the first train.
p.s.- wickeddragster88, Dragster is awesome to ride at night. The countdown lights, both on and off the tower, are just so much cooler to see at night. :) I just know you'll enjoy your first night ride.

I've only been to Cedar Point once and this was last summer. We only got the chance to ride Dragster once in the day. We got in line at dusk, but by the time we got on the ride it was dark. It made for an awesome ride, but I wish we rode earlier in the day for the daytime view from the top (which doen't last long lol) But it was still an awesome ride!
