best part of Disaster Transport

The Black lights were removed because they use them for Halloweekends. Last season they painted the walls with some kind of cheap Egyptian art that only shows up in black light. They took out the black lights so you don't see them (look close and you still can).

Since Florescent lights are cheaper and easier to maintain maybe we will get other Special effects on DT fixed.

"Of course the only way that would even be considered is if the ride started getting some attention."

The ride IS getting attention. It'll get more if everyone signs up for the Disaster Transport 80 on June 26th. Drop me an e-mail if you wanna...

MagnumFAN, I agree with you! I love the sound of the lifthill and find myself dancing to it as I'm going up it.

The Black lights!!!!!
I like how its dark through the whole ride. And how its not really on a track. You can feel the car sliding around.

-------------
Walking by it and knowing one day it wont be there anymore....LOL :)
Ouch, tohot...I think Squisky will get you back for that one day... ;)

mikey
I love looking at the walls on the lift hill and having the visual perception not match the feeling of going up hill

You know all the posters with different locations at the beggining of the line? Well why does CP change DT's theme once in awhile. I thought they had done this before because I dont think it has always been themed to Alaska and I think that would give the ride some attention.
I think the light and extremely LOUD clicking of the chain lift is cool.

Blue Streak Laps: 63~~45 in 1 day
I rode it for the first time in like 7 years at Coastermania, and it was pretty good. I like the part where you circle the robot while in a helix. It's sad at what they did to the queue though.
Disaster Transport was always themed to a trip to Alaska.
So I'm not alone on the chain sound!!

Live for FUN!

GO SHAMROCKS!
GO WOLVERINES!
Best part of Disaster Transport. When they close it up to the public and pump water down the track and use it as a water slide...whoo hoo.
That's nt the lift chain.. it's the dog' falling into the anti-rollback slots...

MF 2000 - 269 laps

MF 2001 - 68 laps as of (6/4/01)

Got to love the the click sound from outside. It makes the ride sound really intimidating...Took my wife two years to ride it. She kicked herself after she rode it.

Get with it or die in the process.....
I love waiting in line and hearing the roar of the trains in the queue.

Not all my posts have anger in them CP_bound.

I also like the lift noise form outside and the roar of the trains and the park after the "Losing control" spiel. One thing I don't like is how hot it is around the lift hill. Feels like an oven
