^^That's it! My boss was explaining it to us when we we're eating at the Atlanta Bread and it was indeed St Louis Bread he mentioned. It slipped my mind since I wasn't really paying attention to him.:P

With resort foods now being part of accommodations, I know that improving our resort dining options and packages is going to be an area of focus moving forward, so I will bring your suggestion to the attention of my director and see if we can't add pancakes and/or waffles to our menus either this year or next.
I'd like to suggest having the option of a made-to-order breakfast in addition to the buffet in the restaurants.
I'm not sure if the Marina is part of the resort dining dept., but it would be nice if you had one of the portable grills set up to cook a few breakfast items in the morning at the marina, at least on weekends. Pancakes, sausage, bacon, eggs and maybe French toast would be great, and I think it would go over well with the boaters if the price is reasonable.
Good to hear that the resorts have control of the food. The price of the rooms and the quality of the dining experience did not match in the past.
I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

I love Panera, but I rarely go to the one in Sandusky unless it is early in the morning to pick up a bagel because it is just too busy in the afternoon. I have had to wait for tables multiple times, even at somewhat off hours like 2:00pm. They definately built that restaurant too small.
I completely agree. One of the things I don't understand about the new stores and restaurants opening in Sandusky. Most are built for very low business volume. Which for the population of Sandusky and surrounding areas makes sense. Maybe someone can explain how market research works, because I think if these companies looked more at the summertime traffic patterns and the Christmas Holiday shopping seasons, the shopping and dining in Sandusky could be a mix between Midway Mall (the mall itself) in Elyria and Avon Commons. I have worked Sandusky Retail awhile now and it seems shopping and restaurants are hit hard from May-December. With only a 3 month down season. I think most retailers\restaurants build on volume sizes of 1,2,3,4 or A,B,C,D with 1 or A being the highest and 4 or D being the lowest. Most new retailers\Restaurants seem to be building the lowset volume in Sandusky which affects building size and staffing. I honestly beleive most should be upgraded to 3 or C Sizes.
This should also be paired with the Mall finding a new manager. As the mall manages a large part of the retail areas driving towards Sandusky past Meijers. I have seen several other Cafaro Malls and they have looked top notch and are well advertised to draw in the crowds.
Just your usual come and go poster. One week I am here, then I disappear for a while.
I tend to not eat in the park.
If I do, it's at panda express or midway market. The food in the park is not only over priced, but the quality is horrid. We will eat at famous daves, or if we feel like driving we will go to a restaurant on 250 somewhere.
We went to disneyland this past week, and I coulden't believe how good the food was and the price of the food was about the same as it is at cp. I got a personal pizza, small salad and a drink for around $11.
I know that amusement park food is going to cost more than food down the street, but when the quality of the food is as bad as it is at cp, it makes us mad to have to pay that much.
what you've just said is one of the most insanely idiotic things I have ever heard.
Everyone in this room is now dumber for having listened to it.
I award you no points, and may God have mercy on your soul.

All of the restaurants outside of the gate now fall under the same management.
I like the marina breakfast idea, I just don't know if the right equipment is floating around and available for use. I'll keep it in mind though when we are discussing new ideas.
Stl Bread Company is high priced with crappy food. I could make a better sandwich in my kitchen for less money and a shorter wait for that matter. Im from the Stl area and would know how they treat their own people. Anyway, sorry to get off track, I would really suggest the Bay Harbor restaurant by the marina. The food is a bit pricey, but good sized portions and delicious food will await you!
I miss the "Shoneys" that was on 250 years ago.
Massive Fannibal and Cedar Point lover!!! Lover of Pennywise 2017!
we go to the brown derby restaurant out in sandusky for dinner. the food and the drinks are awesome. we try not to eat in the park too much cause everything is kinda pricy. but we can resist cheese on a stick :-P i will probably crave that when i am pregnant
In the park, I refuse to eat anything that is available outside of the park... I don't have opportunities every day to eat carnival food... sorry, Subway / Panda Express / Johnny Rockets....
I'm not looking for a nutritious meal... I had that for breakfast before I got on the freeway, and I'll have it at B-dubs later... (and maybe top it off with a couple scoops of White Castle when I get back to Michigan)
It's all about the elephant ears, frozen custard, Happy Friar chili fries + vinegar, pretzels, funnel cakes, snow cones and cotton candy.
I used to like the beef sandwiches (now Panda Express) and the wet burritos (?), too.
Here in California, I can't even find a park that has elephant ears or frozen custard... though we do seem to have garlic fries everywhere.
Did CP ever serve Slush Puppie? or is that half-memory too good to be true?

As far as I can remember, back to 1991-1992, it has always been ICEE, which is ironic since ICEE is largely marketed by Coca-Cola even though it is owned by a pretzel company (that also ironically owns Slush Puppie).
Try the original Cedar Point french fries since 1939. Berardi's Restaurant on Perkins Ave. Rated # 1 in the Sandusky area.
Out with the ICEE, bring back the root beer snow cone!
Cheese on a stick, cheese on a stick, cheese on a stick....... maybe they could bring in TURKEY LEGS....YUM

I like the gourmet pretzels by the Scrambler and cheese on a stick!

Same here love the Gourmet Pretzels as I has request from my friends to bring a few back with me the only problem I have found out with them is I have to order double due to them not always making it back with me consuming them on the way home.
I like the Cream cheese filled pretzels as well. I really want to start lobbying for SMOKED TURKEY LEGS, they would fit in great back by Maverick, they are soooo good. They are meal in itself. Who is with me on this?

I kind of find smoked turkey legs disgusting. I might be tempted to try one next week at Disney, but they just look so nasty.
E x i t English, you may find that an affordable filling meal at Disney. They are just a tad messy but mmm mmm good.

I like the chocolate chip cookies.. definitely the best food in the park.
