Beds

And in Gold.. honestly.. I don't think there is enough floor space for both beds to be on the ground and the rest of the furniture like the dressers and such.

The one thing I have to say about beds is, if you're going to be moving in to housing in April (and even early May) make sure you have a lot of blankets!! Some of those rooms can get cold!!! (Eample: My room in Bayside 800 last summer, where the fan in the wall faced the lake...we got cold wind blowing in through there off the water all night!! In July that's comfy, but in April that's frigid!!)

How long are the beds? Would someone my height, me being 6'4" have any problems fitting in them? Or will my feet be hanging like a foot off of the edge?

Thats a good question. I am 6'3'' and even on my parent's queen sized bed my feet hang over a little.

LOL from the looks of all the responses and other questions being asked about beds, this wasnt a stupid thread after all.

I'm not sure the length of the beds but they are twin size beds. My boyfriend is 6' 4" and his feet hang over the edge of the bed. I would say about almost a ft off the edge when he's stretched out..

If you can fit into a standard twin size bed with no problems, you should be fine. About un-buking the beds, in Gold it's almost impossible because there is very little room for everything in there already!

Just out of total curiosity, are the beds in the Gold dorms wood or metal? And does anyone know the approximate dimensions of a regular room in Gold?

Some of the beds in Gold are wood, but I think a majority of them are metal. I think the girls across the hall had wooden beds.
