Applications are now available for the 2004 season

Your experience in housekeeping obviously differs from those of us in Park Operations...

...Any employee who works on a major coaster can tell you to expect around 60-80 hours any given week. If you stay and get your bonus, every hour turns out to be $7.25 (2004 season), but if you don't get your bonus, then expect to only be making $6.25 / hour. As for getting 1 day off a week, that's expected.

MANTIS ROCKS 2002 & 2003

I worked in the hotel front desk and I didn't have a bad experience at all. I loved my job, loved my co-workers, I just loved everything about it!

HyperSonic - maybe if you would have stay and fulfilled your contract the bonus may have meant something.

I was working between 50 - 60 hours at the desk, and I was thrilled when I got my bonus check. I know during the season, it might not seem worth it, but when you get a check at the end of the season for a couple hundred dollars, it makes it all worth it.

As for living conditions, it depends on your standards. I lived in Gold my first year and that wasn't as horrible as everything thinks, but some people HATE it!

I wish I could come back for another season...:(
Finally a shoeless Raptor rider! :)

I filled out mine sometime ago. Hopefully they will choose me because I need to work. I know my first choice was ticket taker, but I forgot my second two choices. Anyone know the chances of getting hired?
V Dogg: I worked as a ticket taker/cashier the last couple of years, Mike Nelson is the guy in charge of that, give him a call after January 6th. He's a good boss to work for.

Do you know the number, West Coast?
1-800-668-JOBS (5627)

Without Environmental Services Cedar Point would be a dirty park!

Sorry to bump this old topic, but how many hours can ticket takers expect a week?
Just call the 1-800-668-JOBS number after next Monday and they will patch you to Park Operations. You just tell them you are applying for admissions and wanted to talk to the person in charge. Good Luck. :)

Ticket takers hours vary, you get at least 40 and you can work as much as 60 to 70 like I did when I worked there. At the beginning and at the end of the season is when you tend to work the most hours.
