I was so exited when I got the e-mail that they were noe accepting apps. I nearly tripped myself running for my social security number. I had to call my dad to see which folder he was keeping it in. Then I got to the section where you enter previous employment. I was nervous, but I called my boss to find out when I started working. I told him I was just curious! (tehehe). I have been working at a rollerskating rink for almost 4 years.

Ive heard good and bad comments from employees, but I think it won't be a problem since I have a strict boss at this time. But anyway, I hope to work with some of you, I'm 17, going on 18 January 27, 2004.

1. Ride Host

2. Pet/Animal Farm

3. Train staff

Wow.. another Jan. 27th bday..

January 27th is a very popular b-day. I cant tell a group of people my b-day without someone either having it, or knowing someone with it, lol! But happy b-day to anyone with Jan 27th.

I'll be 18, and celebrate by going to Canada to a male strip club! Also the piercing parlor~!!

I think the only people that apply for Merchandise are the people that worked it in the past and sometimes not even then. I think merchandise is better than rides sometimes.

sounds cool that everyone is excited about the upcoming season at the point, but unfortunately I won't be back due to being ineligible, plus I have a wonderful g/f I don't want to leave behind at home here in VA if I was eligible. You guys rock at the point and I'll be stopping by in the summer to say hi to everyone.

I've always wanted to work @ the Point, but I've always been very hesitant because of pay & living conditions. I'm not sure what they're like so that's why I'm here! Could someone tell me how much you get paid and also where do you live & what is the atmosphere like in this place you call home?
The pay really sux, I hate to say it you all that work at cp, but I get paid a whole lot more now since leaving the point back in June than what I was at cp. I really loved the people and the job was really great, but I just left because yea, the living conditions are really bad and 2. the pay really sux, no overtime and the bonus program doesn't seem to play out. Imagine a 6-day work week with one day off and you don't get a paid break, and you end up with about 36 hrs a week, what I had in housekeeping, I get 45 hrs a week at the job I am at now at Virginia Oil Company, and I get overtime pay, and holiday pay of Time/Half. If you really want to work at cedar point, go for it, and you will make alot of great friends as I did, and I really had the time of my life for the two months I was there, but money wise, it isn't worth working there for the money, you won't make much. Oh, I get 2 days off a week at the job I am at now, lol, what an advantage.
