Anyone have ride problems?

LapBars as long as its safe. They need to make lapbars on ID because ther pointless. Even though that would be hard to do.

true..why are there otsr on id? i think it takes away from the 'open' feeling

they could just have seatbelts on iron dragon and you'd still be safe. unless the train falls off the track, you're not coming out of that car. LOL!!

Over the shoulder restraints are not needed on any ride. Mr Freeze in St. Louis is a much better ride then it was before the current lap bar replaced the otsr's. Otsr's have one purpose, Beating the hell out of your head.

It's better then drowning on in the pound. I always think that on CCMM about drowning in the water and not being able to get out of your lapbar.

Now coming to theaters...Finding Halltd

How's this for comforting... a nut of a bolt fell off Iron Dragon and hit me in the head today while I was riding.

What? Did you tell an op?

wtf? just another reason for it to break down in the middle of a lift..i hate that ride for the fact that it gets stuck on the hill too much...

Thats the blocking system, not the ride breaking down.

They launch trains pretty quick on that one. So before one can clear a lift, the other has to be in the brakes or on the other lift. If neither of these conditions are met, the computer will stop the ride on the lift.

I picked it up as I got off and gave it to a ride operator and was like, "this fell off the train during our ride." She was like, "Why, thank you," with a smile, and continued about her way.

Sorry, I'm not an enthusiast/person/CP Fan/guest who steals things from the park.

I've had my seatbelt come ondone on Blue Streak during the middle of the airtime hills. For someone who's skinny enough to slip out of the lapbars those that scared the crap out of me. I got it back together on the turnaround, but I was young, and didn't report it.

I'm sure since it operated all those years as an "ACE classic" I was fine, since I don't thing those can have seatbelts err, the lapbars are those skinny metal bars.

Yes, that was my scariest Cedar Point experience ever.

I feel much safer riding Dragster or Millennium, even though once again I'll be fine on anything else. I don't know why, but thier lapbars are just comforting.

Except when I go up Millennium's lift I feel like the train will peel off and we'll fall to the ground, stuck in the seat because of the awesome restraints.

i see your point about stealing..okay its wrong to take a piece of a ride that hits you.

The only problem I have had was earlier this summer on Skyhawk the Ride Op stapled me so bad I couldn't breathe. I ran into a sup and told him because The Ride Op wasn't supposed to staple like that if at all..

Maintenance has been known to leave extra things (wheels, tools, rolls of duct tape, cotter pins, bolts) in the trains in the morning. That doesn't make getting drilled by any one of these things any more fun and I think they should take better care, but I'd say there's a 95% chance it was something like this and not something breaking off mid-ride.

I took a shiny pretty washer from the ground in the Magnum station once...

I'm a felon ;_;
