While I'm slightly disapointed by the lack of construction updates from CP that I've grown accustom to during the last two projects, I really don't need an annoucement until shortly before the park opens this spring.

Umm, I find this hard to believe because with all the media attention and the fact that the ride was being built while the park was still open.
I have to disagree with you there. The "media attention" isn't really that big of a deal yet. This time in 1999 everyone I worked with knew what Millennium Force was, now few even know something is being built.
I think in the Cleveland market at least that may change a little next week, depending on which TV news you watch.

So of course everyone already knew, but the way that roller coasters have been getting taller and faster quicker has kind of made it so nobody knows who's on top, etc.
I'm sure some people still think MF is the tallest and fastest. It wouldn't surprise me at all.
Reguarding to the Cleveland thing... is that a hint?

"...you also have to remember that MF had already been announced by now..."
Duh... that's my point!

On a lighter note, I just wonder which of the stations is going to find a newscaster willing to ride this thing next year.
Just being a smartass, nothing new to you.

And I really enjoy the visists to the park as well. It is really an escape as all of us will attest to.
How fortunate are we who live within a few hours of the park and have the money to waste on harmless fun and leisure. I am over 40, worked a summer in foods, and still get a 10 yr olds thrill when I drive the causeway to get in. And I am usually about a .25 BAC at least! God what fun and We all have to wait until the second week of may to go!
I AM COUNTING THE MINUTES, HOURS, DAYS, AND MONTHS!
In any event, I am glad to see, 'Playa, that you keep just as busy on several boards. Let me know when your "Guide to Coasterbuzz's Black People" comes out.
I am thinking of a "Guide to Coasterbuzz's People Past Puberty" book. (It will probably be more of a pamphlet but what the heck.)
No, you won't get any more information next week than you've already heard, sorry.
