I would have LOVED to been there guys...I know I'm not a *regular* GTTPer, but I would definately have been there if I could! I'm in Florida, so I don't think it would've worked out. I was there in spirit though! Congrats to all!!!

BTW Hooper.. I gave the bear back to the kid as I headed out of the train.. They had tears in thier eyes as I gave it back from laughing so hard. They thought for SURE we were going to tear it into two pieces when we headed into the final run towards the helix..

Tell them... they announced it all during th eday.. asking us as they saw us.. And mentioned it on the speils all through the day that we were trying it and what laps we were on.

Some of teh ops started taking pictures of us as we hit the 80's and 90's for thier own scrapbooks..

on a side note.. (as I prepare my TR).. here are the stats...

Total track traveled.. 393500 feet (75 miles)
Average speed based on 11.5 hours the ride was open (remember it opened late and we had to wait in lines and breaks and so and so) 6.5 miles per hour.

wow, Rob, those stats are, well, something else. Almost comical. You traveled 75 miles to end up in the same place you started. Thats like "I live in Cincinnati, and there's this restaurant near Columbus that serves these great burgers with fries. I think it's called McDonald's. Let's go!" ;)

Just kidding, that was a 75 mile trip I wish I would've made! Guess the girl I was with wasn't quite the Po!nter girl some of you all here are! (LuvRaptor, CPIrvine :))
