Amusment Parks Vs. Natural Disaster

Mr Scott:

As it turns out, no, I am not a degenerate. Did I make any mention at all about people in my post? In fact, this thread's topic is discussing the impact of a natural disaster on an amusement park, not people. If I had come on here and tried to make a joke about these people or their suffering, then you have every right to question my ethics. But please, please don't assume you have higher moral or ethical values than I simply because I can find some humor in the fact that an amusement park is now submerged under water. If people were hurt or worse at the park when it was flooded, then I would surely not find it humorous in the least. But my joke was (as JRobert said) about inanimate objects - things that have no nerves, feelings or emotions, so I don't think that Batman: The Ride will have a problem with my post. However, if it does have a problem, tell it to PM me, and we can settle this like... umm... well, we can settle this.

Brandon

Easy, easy! I make no assumptions and have pretty light "morals" myself.

Guess I'm right in there with the BTK guy. I laughed at the water park joke.

<Matt>
101 on Magnum and counting...

I think some where in the thread someone said something about earthquakes and California......

http://neic.usgs.gov/neis/states/ohio/last_event.html

Granted this was in March BUT they happen all the time. This was a 2.2 - most likely felt like a truck coming down the road.

It does give you something to think about. Hmmmmm......

Please remain seated until the ride comes to a complete AND final stop.....

I was at the park last fall and the CP employees were saying that the windvane <----(Spelling?) at the top of magnum recorded over 100mph. A tree fell that day on a brand new truck in camper village. They were open as usual the next day with no coaster (ride) damage.

Sarcasm-----> What about quicksand. OMG I hope there is no quicksand under any of the rides.

Mikey,
What do you think Magnum is built on? Why else would it be sinking and need to have the jacks adjusted every night as part of their routing maintenance.

Goodbye MrScott
