Am I the only one who hates "Hold On"?

Hee Hee,,,, Hey JO.... "RAPTOR!"
LOL,,,
are ya goosebumpy?

Raptor is me favorite ride!
just the thought of it tingles me!
Some of you seem to be out to criticize every decision that Cedar Point's management made for this year. I personally won't miss Fascination, because I never played it in the first place. I think that Johnny Rockets will be nice, because I've never been to one before. I don't mind them adding a Camp Ground over a new coaster, because I camp at the park every year. I haven't seen the new signs yet, but I do agree that I will probably miss the old ones.

As far as the new slogan goes. I've only seen the commercial up here in Michigan two times, and it has definately caught in my head. The song is very memorable, and I thought that it was a good commercial.

Some of you act like Cedar Point is going to crumble this year, just because of a few changes that will probably actually enhance the experience for most of the customers at the park.

One thing I noticed about Johnny Rockets is that it looks very small! I can already see the hour long lines forming outside :)

I just heard it on the radio today. The theme and words are stupid, I think, but I agree the music is really cool. The harmonized "Hold On! Hold On! Hold On!" sounds like something straight from a Queen album.

Here's to wood in 2002!
While it's DEFINATELY NOT their best work...it is so damn catchy...and that's they point... I think 2002 will be better...and yes, the sled promo MUST come back :)

mikey.
P.S. Sorry MooreOn...but here's to S&S TA2K in 02
I FINALLY just d/lded it. Well...the video's decent, I'm liking that. I didn't get the "Hold on because we don't want a lawsuit" vibe that some get, so that's alright. It's certainly not "Cedar Point will mooooove you..." or "So if you're wonderin' what the family's gonna do!..." And my biggest beef is the melody itself with the electronic "drum" sounds reminds me of an infomercial for a food dehydrator I remember seeing :-/ But it's okay, just not the best they've come around with. Good enough for the GP :-)

*-CP Irvine-* I know who's fault it is!
*The FewER, The Proud, The Po!nter Girls*
CM3= Stratus R/T
The one thing I have always hated about CP and the commercials was the use of a drum machine.
If you can't get the song out of your head, then the ad campaign was successful - this is what ad execs want. We have a towing company in town whose slogan is "Car Dead - Call Fred" - everyone thinks it's stupid, but everyone knows who they are, and who to call when you need a tow. When you need a coaster fix, you all know who to call......
