All wheels extreme is gone.
That piece of the property that the stadium was taking up is too valuable to waste on a giant stadium.
Case in point, build a house, then build that same house on the edge of Lake Erie.
Which house is worth more.
The land most adjacent to the lake is more valuable.
Time for AWE to move on.
Responding to a comment of a recent post on their Facebook page All Wheels Sports said that they are working with Cedar Point to bring an all-new show to the park this summer with the promise to share more info soon. They said the show will have a new name as well as "a new look and elements".
"Thank the Phoenicians!"
If AWE is indeed gone, either temporarily or for good, I am now a bit disappointed that I never took the time to view it in person live. My son wanted to watch some CP roller coaster video and I found some neat YouTube videos by Coasterbob62. He has some really nice shots & angles. The one we watched had some footage of AWE and it indeed looked awesome. I could never do that on my Schwinn in the 70's.

Yeah I saw it too. I hope they don't change it too much, though. I think back in 2008 they had a few dancers in the show but in my opinion I thought it was bad. I love the extreme stunts of the show that never disappoint, and the energy of it all. I hope they don't dilute that with non-stunts.
