After Labor Day...

Leslie you should try the tram lift out in Albuquerque NM. It is the same concept, but 50 people per car and I believe its the heightest in the world (maybe just states). Anyways it is quite the experience going up to the top of the mountain! There is a pretty good restaurant up there though.

Oh man. The restaurant wouldn't be worth me crying all the way up to the top. Do you think my quote under my posts is fake?? :-)

Hell, I cried the last time I was on the TTD! LOL

You did get my attention by mentioning the restaurant...hence, food. How many times have you been there?

HAHA my mom won't go back up there. I've been there twice. It's beautiful going over the valleys, but I'll even admit its scary.

In the winter a guy rides on top an d chips the ice off of the cable.

I fly hot air balloons too so, if you're looking for as many ways to "dangle" as possible I could some ideas for ya. haha!

Holy Cow the members online count just broke the 200 barrier!

You think Hotel Breakers with no heat is bad, try the hotel at Conneaut Lake. Because it's a historic landmark, they can't make any upgrades that would significantly alter the structure. It has no heat, no tv, no phone, no ac. I can't remember but I'm not even sure it has electricity. You have to share bathrooms with other rooms on the floor. I wasn't brave enough to stay, so I can't tell you about the experience.

Somebody's wondering, so... it's fifty bucks a night. When I visited it didn't look like there were many takers.

Oh, you little wussy! ;-)

So- do you mean to tell me that you don't get on the Power Tower? Blazing Fury? I'll look that one up....

It doesn't seem like any ride from a place called Dollywood would be intimidating. :-D

I'm pretty sure the new parts of the Hotel Breakers, such as the tower and East, have heat in the hallways. And all the rooms, even in the Bon Air section, have reverse cycle air conditioning that will heat the room.

I'd rather be in my boat with a drink on the rocks,
than in the drink with a boat on the rocks.

Thanks for correcting my memory, Shaggszgn. I've got to get to a neurologist or something.
