After Labor Day when the parks closed on weekdays can we still get updates on p2007 or do we have to wait till the weekends?

Bow down, Bow down before the power of Santa, or be crushed, be crushed by----- his Jolly boots of Doom.

Coming Soon! Star Wars episode 7- The Fallen Hero
episode 8- The Republic in Crisis
episode 9- Victory of the Force

Perimeter Road ought to still be open, even though - as previously discussed here - you're not supposed to stop.

When the park is closed, I'm pretty sure they won't let you on the property unless you provide a good reason to be there at the toll booths.

Plus Jeff and Walt get special access to the park on off days, there will be updates.

Yes, because neither one of them have a life outside of this website.

You can go through the tool booths all year long. I have a house on the road along the chaussee (I never learned how to spell that, though) and I cut through cedar points parking lot all the time, even in winter. If you don't have a parking pass they charge $.25 to go through (thats at least in the winter, I have no idea about these weekends though), so realistically if you wanted to drive up and down perimeter road until you got enough pictures I don't see any reason why.

*NOTE*
This post was for informational purposes only. I don't actually advise someone doing this, because im sure security doesnt have much to do so they'll probably catch on by the second time you'd drive down there. Plus in two days everyone will know and maybe they'll have updates on the actual cedar point website, like they have in the past (even though they are like 4 months later)

Well, theoretically yes. But they do ask you where you're headed, do they not? And your parking pass expires sometime before October 31.

That's where Jeff and Walt's friendly relationship with CP's PR comes in handy!

The webcam and CP's site keeps us up to date and the latest happenings as well. (November-April is webcam watching season) :)

they need more... Id like to see one on Mean Streak facing towards the construction zone.

Cedar Point Lifer, RideOp, Now Park Guest
2008 - Mantis/MF/Skyride
2009 - ATL Raptor
2010 - TL Sweeps
2011 & 2012 - Area 3 Rides Supervisor

They might move it after the announcement; they're still kind of trying to keep it a secret.

During the "Area 51" days of Top Thrill Dragster, Walt's VirtualMidway.com was THE source on the internet for pictures of the construction.

If any site on the net will have information, it will be this one!

Why would the parking pass expire before the park closes? The season pass still works through the end of the season, the parking pass does too.

Cedar Point's final day of operation for 2006 is Sunday, October 29th.

(29 < 31 ;))

When I go up to get my season pass in April, I routinely cruise up Perimeter Road, even if there's no construction going on. I just love those first views of the park from the car. I head all the way around to the Breakers parking lot and back. Not once has anyone stopped me.

Ensign,

I often do the same. Me and my buddy drove the 3 hours down to renew our passes when dragster was just starting testing and got to see from Breakers area what we believe to be the first launches ever. That was WAY cool :)

You aren't supposed to go anywhere past the season pass center. Nothing like admitting to tresspassing on a website.

You can get through the tollbooths if you go down the chaussee (There is likely no one there) however, again, you are tresspassing if you do anything but make a left and head down the causeway.
