I thought of something kind of "out of the box" (I know, I know :)). Anyway, what if when they added WT, they not only were thinking of adding a world class thrill ride to dwarf the competition over in Aurora, but it was meant to be some kind of stepping stone for those of the GP who wouldn't necessarily be up for a 100+ mph launch. WT would get those guests a chance to experience less of an extreme launch along with a fun intense ride. Jumping straight from all traditional lifts at CP to a 100+ launch may have been too much for some peeps, but now that they have an impulse to build up their tolerance, CP can move on to bigger, and more extreme things.

I like how you think. Plus it’s a great ride to add to their collection of great coasters. I don’t think it was a filler ride, but its possible something larger is coming next year.

Ok there are so many rumors but the number 1 of them all is.... SFMM got X something Cedar Point doesnt have, Vertigo collapsed an Cedar Fair still says they have a good relationship with S&S so they're going with a TA2K that SFMM doesnt have. A 400 foot 110 mph launch. Chaos goes where Schwabinchen is that in return goes to MA an I have no Idea about Troika. Cedar Point does want the tallest even if SFMM states they have the Tallest.
