accommodation jobs

Hello Everyone!! This will be my first year working at Cedar Point. I'm working in accommodation specifically Camper Village front desk staff. I'm excited but a little nervous too. I'll be great to meet new people and have fun at the coolest amusement park in the work. I'm a college studen and will be processing in may 23. How old is the average emplayee? Is it mainly college kids? Any advice on a living situation? I look forward to meeting you all this summer.

A majority of the employees are of college age, so don't worry about that.

I worked as a Front Office Manager last year at Camper Village. It's VERY laid back.

There is a lot to know, but it's fun for the most part.

I won't be returning this year since I currently have a job making almost $10/hr. It would be dumb to return for less than that. ;)

Be sure to tell Brian Greer (another FOM at CV) that Kristy said HIIII! lol

I'll be visiting sometime in August. :)

Hey Kristy, how are you? I wondered if I'd ever run into you on these boards. Just so you know I'll be returning in '05, as a guest. I was going to try to work at CV just like one day per week but the man said I needed to give him more hours to hire me back. And like you I'm not about to quit a higher paying job just to work at CV. Oh well, I like CP better as a guest anyway. I will miss the early early entry though.

As you can imagine I already have my reservation booked at Breakers for opening weekend. And of course, there are plenty more resort stays planned for this season. If you are to visit sometime this year let me know, we should definitely get together.

Hey there, Scott JC! I got your email and replied. I plan on visiting sometime in August; probably near the middle of the month. I'd like to go sooner, but I'm going to Disney World July 14th-18th, then down to stay with family in Ft Lauderdale thru the 24th. So, I don't wanna visit CP before I go in fear that I'll spend all my money! lol Greer said I could stay with him if I wanted to. I don't care where I sleep, as long as it's FREE!! haha
