Say what you will, but while y'all are up to your arses in snow except for the 3 months CP is open, we are riding at parks across the country almost year round. SF has had its share of downsides, but it is still a great (and largest) chain. I can access 5 parks within 6-8 hours from my house, the newest being Six Flags New Orleans, which has been transformed into a great park after being changed from Jazzland.

Largest chain means Sqaut to me....Quality over Quantaty, Six flags got alot of crappy parks. CF has a few Amazing world class parks, that offer total quality...Basically it dont get any better then CF. CP isnt a year round park, And i dont know if its just me, But having a seasonal park just makes me appreciate it alot more.

SF can keep buying more and more parks, But it will let their other parks stand and basically go to waste. Just keep giving SFMM coasters until they run out of space and then they will switch focus onto another park like SFgadv or SFGAM. I tell ya, Your not going to find the kind of thrills CP offers at any SF park.

And now lets get back on topic.

CP is open for 6 months not 3. Six Flags is the poorman's Cedar Point. Cedar Point alone has a better track record and better anntendence then any Six Flags. but Six Flags is the bigger chain therefore making it better. yeah go troll another board!

Thanks for the explanation Draegs. In today's Register, there was an article about Dragster and in it Robin Innes said that running the trains with one less car is "normal procedure" and the fifth car will be added in a few weeks. Not sure how this would be normal procedure, and I sure hope it doesn't kill the capacity the first few weeks too bad. But, I believe this is the first thing I've heard about this issue from CP personnel, and atleast it isn't permanant.

Draegs... no way. Where ever you heard that, it's wrong. You won't believe how many brake fins have been removed. There are a ton of them missing at the start of the run, and each fifth fin has been removed the entire length.

I was told by People Who Know(TM) that they're still running the ride conservatively because apparently it was turned over to them pretty recently.

If it's not the brake fins nor the ride op's nor the speed on the TopHat, what is it! I trains look to small. I hope they get 5 cars running by the last few weeks in May.
