With Cedar Point, they can have their triotek [sic] junk pieces...

"Junk" to you. Fun rides to the 99.7812% of park guests who aren't posting to Pointbuzz. Hm. Wonder which direction Cedar Fair's going to go here....

...but I eventually want to see something like Transformers at Universal installed, and that's what I meant by 'heavily themed' 'true' 'non-coaster' dark ride.

Wanting.... ain't getting. Universal operates major destination parks that operate year round. Cedar Fair operates regional parks that (with one exception) do not operate year round.

Wildcat probably qualified as junk but I loved it and I miss it dearly and a rotor probably falls in that category too but I really wish CP had one. I used to marathon the one at Geauga Lake when I was a kid.

Parking garages for CP? Blah...

If they do a parking garage, off point would be best. Between the dorms and breakers express ideally.

An off point parking garage would be hell for going back to your car for lunch or clothing.

Unless they ran a shuttle service like they do for hotels.

Because shuttles are quick and painless..

^ True, which is why a monorail will be built to move crowds between the peninsula and the parking garage.

Why does everything have to get converted on an anniversary? Blue Streak's fifty just had a nice ceremony and a couple banners.

The Doctor is supposed to be saving the universe, not travelling to Cedar Point on a yearly basis and editing Wikipedia pages.

Big difference between running a shuttle about for hotel guests and moving tens of thousands of daily guests back and forth between the park and their cars.

Suggesting a monorail at Cedar Point suggests a lack of understanding of the infrastructure involved.

Suggesting that the monorail comment was anything other than sarcasm would show a lack of understanding in the sarcasm involved.

After all, the ridiculous idea that an off-peninsula parking garage is needed at Cedar Point would obviously require the ridiculous monorail to transport patrons between the two areas.

2027 - ..... main parking lot turned into multiple parking decks ($10M)

$10 million? Hahahahahahaha. Not even in 2015 prices.

At this point, with the way this thread is going, someone might as well suggest a land reclamation project. Oops

New for 2018... RMC Iron Horse!!!

^ That's in 2030 and I hear it's going to be in the shape of Cedar Fair's logo.

Palm Cedar Point

That explains the new logo, honestly. It's much simpler but more intertwined in a way. Plus, it's got those legs, the "supports", that can be used to extend the reclamation project further into the lake or bay while giving a way to walk to the new land.

You heard it all here first. Well, until someone adds it to the Wikipedia page and it becomes officially official.

2031: Cedar Point builds a platform over all existing rides and builds an entirely new section of the park 420+ feet in the air.

^Then build an 81ft Aquatrax that dives into the lake to officially build the first 500 footer.

On this second level, they will build everything the same, except the coasters. They will be 10 ft taller than original and have names such as "Super Thrill Dragster", and "Millennium+3Decades&and1year Force".
