With Cedar Point, they can have their triotek [sic] junk pieces...
"Junk" to you. Fun rides to the 99.7812% of park guests who aren't posting to Pointbuzz. Hm. Wonder which direction Cedar Fair's going to go here....
...but I eventually want to see something like Transformers at Universal installed, and that's what I meant by 'heavily themed' 'true' 'non-coaster' dark ride.
Wanting.... ain't getting. Universal operates major destination parks that operate year round. Cedar Fair operates regional parks that (with one exception) do not operate year round.
I'm a Marxist, of the Groucho sort.
Suggesting that the monorail comment was anything other than sarcasm would show a lack of understanding in the sarcasm involved.
After all, the ridiculous idea that an off-peninsula parking garage is needed at Cedar Point would obviously require the ridiculous monorail to transport patrons between the two areas.
That explains the new logo, honestly. It's much simpler but more intertwined in a way. Plus, it's got those legs, the "supports", that can be used to extend the reclamation project further into the lake or bay while giving a way to walk to the new land.
You heard it all here first. Well, until someone adds it to the Wikipedia page and it becomes officially official.
