You're not going to get within walking distance of the park, obviously, but a place close to the other off point housing for the bus.

Another thing to note is that you can't go to far in Sandusky before the neighborhood takes a huge fall.

That is true riding the bus would not be so bad if i could get an apartment close to it I really like working at Cedar Point I just do not want to live in housing again thanks for the information:) I just hope i can find a place that does not cost that much but nice to.

The old adage is true...you get what you pay for.

At Disney I was making something like $5.30/hr (early 90s) and paid somewhere around $57/week for housing. BUT, I was living in a 3 bedroom condominium, 6 of us in all. The condo had cable tv, a kitchen with all of the pots, pans, dishes, dishwasher, stove, etc. We had two bathrooms.

The condo complex had two pools, tennis courts, a weight room, computer lab, etc. I had NO problem seeing that deduction in my paycheck each week.

Someday, under a new administration, Cedar Fair will finally realize the vast opportunity they have been missing all these years.

But then again, Cedar Point is seasonal, Disney is not. Why would CP invest that kind of money for a shorter operating season?

NOT that I defend housing in any way, I know it sucks horribly, and should be given away for free, but its CP, what can you expect?

Yep that is very true but i can always hope :) I did live in Gold dorms in 2006 and it was not really that bad as i thought it would be you got an extra hour of sleep from not having to put up with bus and all and it was pretty quiet maybe ill just stay there again just have to hope to find a good roomy i guess.
