I was very surprised by the wood coaster decisions. I haven't been on Thunderhead, so I can't make an informed decision on that ride, but the way the reviews were going for The Voyage, I thought it was a lock for #1.
Does anyone else find it "odd" that Mean Streak wasn't even included on their top 10 wood list? ;) Hell, it wasn't even in the top 50! Just goes to show what the "real" award voters think of the ride. Hey, at least Blue Streak made the top 50.

Dragsters points are messed up the points put it in 8th but the list puts it 10th, so I dunno. But I am upset about Holidays Worlds staff award, they weren't very nice at all. I had agirl yelling at us because we were waiting outside the line for voyage when it was broken down and she said that we couldn't wait there.

The list is somewhat accurate, because I see all of my favorite coasters on the list except for Batman at MM an SFGAm.
However the order is jumbled, and makes no sense as to why one year a coaster is rated at #3 then shoots down to #10.
A coaster should be put in a spot and not change unless something happens to the ride, or a newer one is better.

Well, people can vote for different rides each year...

SteelRaptor, that makes absolutely no sense. The ratings are based on votes submitted by coaster enthusiasts. Amusement Today doesn't rank them themselves.

Kingda Ka is a different ride experience than TTD. It's rough...the launch goes in "spurts" (less intense, IMO)...OTSR's...and it has the unfortunate reality of being located in SFGAdv.
I have never been on S:ROS...what exactly makes it better than MF? I took a few virtual POV rides and the only guess I have would be airtime.
Promoter of fog.
I've been on SM:ROS and it isn't even in my top 10, not even close to MF, but i still think MF is boring, sorry guys. My fav steel is Raging Bull, backseat with some breathing room in your seat.
