2004 passes...

I would rather have a pink season pass than those pink 2003 parking passes. At least you can put the pass in your pocket.

I could've sworn that they told me not to mail the certificates in until the first of the year. Rats!

I was also told to wait til after Jan.1st to send in my certificates for processing. I guess I'll mail them in sooner. I also didn't like the pink parking sticker, but it made it easier to spot my van across the parking lot at the mall.

So I got an envelope in the mail today from Cedar Point... so I open it up to find another Season Pass along with a note which reads: "Thank you for renewing your 2004 Cedar Point Pass. Please destroy your original pass, as it is no longer valid. We hope you have a fun filled 2004 summer. See you on the midway!"

They fixed the expiration date on the pass, but it still says "los or damage" and "saftey".

So, go figure.

I'm just going to drive out in April to get mine because my certificate doesn't have JCC on it. Plus, it's a short drive and it gives me an excuse to visit the peninsula and watch them test the rides....last year they were running Raptor when I got mine processed, and man did it make me want to go ask for a ride.

I sent in my certificates in the beginning of January and I just got my pass on Friday, more than a month later (I even put my pass number on the line where it asks you for it). I also thought we had to send the certificates in after the first of the year.

The only spelling correction they made on this pass was "expires". All other spelling errors are still there. Who was the editor?

And the pass is still pink. EWWW! I agree, glad it is tucked in my pocket! Maybe they wanted us to think of Pepto Bismol so we dont forget it when we come to the park........

Maybe the people in admissions were trying to decide to renew your pass or not and were looking through the records for your brothers..

I am a renewing Cedar Point passholder for the first time and i sent my combo/joe cool slips in about mid January and still havent got them yet... Will i have a separate joe cool card or wil it be printed on the combo pass? Also can somebody give me some more info on the joe cool membership thing because it came free with my combo pass so i dont know much about it.

Your "Joe Cool" logo will appear on the upper right corner of your pass. As for information on JC, visit cedarpoint.com for all discounts. Click on Season 2004 passes on the right side of the page. On the right side is "Joe Cool Club", click on that. ERT, discounts, and free stuff are some of the different deals they have.

Maybe CP is trying to get everyone to purchase the combo pass. They are a nice blue color ;)

They can build the worlds tallest and fastest coaster but can't spell or pick decent colors...hmm

What's the problem with pink passes? You all sound like you can't use the darn pass unless you are wearing a matching (or perhaps coordinating) tutu.

Cedar Point is just going through its cycle of colors for their passes. I'm sure the idea is to make it more discernable from last year's pass. Some of the more obvious changes include moving the barcode to the back and doing away with the second photograph.

I think since they still use Commodore 64's in the Season Pass office, they don't have spell checking ability. ;)

I've never had a season pass before, so this year it's all new to me. I bought a combo pass with the free joe cool, and I also bought the season parking pass. So, do regular season and combo passes look similar in appearance? CP's website shows a season pass, will it be similar to that?

I believe that the combo pass is simply a unique color. The season passes are pink, so maybe you'll get lucky and get a decent color. :)

If you have you season pass slip, can you mail it to Cedar Point and will they mail you back the pass with the picture that you had last year? If so, where do you mail the slip?
