Can't believe there are only 23 days until the park closes :(
I plan on making 3 more trips out, 15th-16th, 22nd-23rd, and maybe early on halloween day for my last couple of rides of the year.
On a happy note, for me at least, Halloweekends continues to be the best time of the season. Nothing like it.

Does anybody know if CP has a cutoff number as far as admissions alowed into the park? If they even have one I've been do Disney when all but one of the parks are full and closed during Chrsitmas.
they do, I don't know what it is though. I'm pretty sure it was this weekend last year but they hit it and were turning people away at the gate. thats what we'd been told at least. so yeah...

I would think that every venue has a mandated limit on the number of guests it can safely handle. Just like bars & clubs, I would imagine CP has to ensure guests can get out safely in the event of an emergency.

I know the haunted house attractions are closed on Sundays, but are the shows open on Sundays? Like the magic show for example.

The Haunted Houses (The Asylum, Happy Jacks Toy Factory, Club Blood, and Eerie Estate) are open on sundays from 3-close just not the outdoor scare zones.
Edit: Forgot that the outdoor haunts are now open on Sundays from 7 till close

Yeah the park looks absolutely mobbed today. The weather is way too nice. TTD line is completely full and continuing out to the midway.

The Sunday of Columbus Day weekend isn't terribly bad..Usually, for the outdoor zones, the first hour is busy, but the second hour is slow.
Just to clarify...Tonight the outdoor zones are open 8-10pm whereas the remaining Sundays of the season, the outdoor zones are open 7-9pm.
Last night was busy! Busiest night of the Halloweekends season.

How have Halloweekend Sundays been attendance-wise this year generally? Friday nights are nowhere near as dead as they used to be. I'm wondering if I should sub in a Sunday instead of Friday for the final trip of the season (mainly going for the haunted houses)...
From what I gathered last year and this year, the haunted houses are swamped on Fridays...but last year, there were very small waits during the day on Sunday for the haunted houses. Is this still the case? It made sense to me, since it seemed like more families with kids were doing the non-scary stuff on Sunday, while the teens and young adults flock in for the scary stuff on Friday night / Saturday night.
Sundays have been less crowded than Fridays this year (HW only). Fridays start off slow for early entry, I imagine people are still getting out of work, etc. But by 7-8PM it's usually getting pretty crowded.
Sundays have been mostly great, except today (10/10), though I wasn't there I was watching the cams and it looked like the busiest Sunday of the HW so far this year, by a lot.
Thanks for the info, Magnum. I'll try a Sunday next time.
This Sunday was busy because of the combination of the nice weather, extended hours, and many having Monday off for Columbus Day. I don't imagine future Sundays will be anything like it.
Fridays do appear to be more crowded than they have been in the past. Most all rides and HW attractions have considerable waits this year.
Saturday may have been the biggest crowd I saw at any time this year which wasn't a surprise due to the weather. All lines were full, even flats like Matterhorn had full queues. Cedar Downs was full down the ramp to the midway at 4pm. Maverick was way outside the queue rapped around towards it's exit. The Asylum line was back to the Antique Car station at 8pm. I asked the employee at the end of the line and she said it was a 3 hour wait. Cornstalkers was across the bridge. Fright Zone was jammed up at both ends, but not too bad in between. We made many trips back and forth there. The big crowd added to the fun.Terror Islands line extened to the Gemini Midway and even went through some of the queues inside the Paddlewheel Excursion station. The train had lines out of the station.
Sunday was the biggest crowd I saw on a Sunday this year. It rivaled a May of early June Saturday. Magnum's line was full at 6pm. Power Tower had a long line at 6pm also. An hour and a half line for the Asylum at 3:30. We'd just got out of there. We got in line at 2:40, it opened at 3.
Before The Asylum opened we waited in the line and there were many cases of line jumping. The queue is much wider than a normal one which allows for easy movement. We were about the midpoint of the line. One case it looked like the dad stood in line and held the place to be joined later by the 4 other family members. Another case were 5 men stood in line and the women went for ice cream and returned with cones and joined the men in line. And the women that left the line only to return with 4 friends and the all just walked past everybody. All of these people got in front of us. My 12 years old boy shouted at them that line jumping is not a sport, but they didn't care. While I told him he was correct, what can you do. I'm not going to confront 5 other guys. Now if there were a bunch of people upset we may have a chance. We may also end up starting a riot too ,which is not what you want to do. Other than one man that mentioned something to a line jumper, the people around us were more annoyed at my son for his griping about the line jumpers. He was ready to take them on. Maybe I should have let him. To be called out by a kid would be embarrassing.
Aside from that little annoyance we had a great time over the weekend.
Can't. Wait. For. Friday! The weather is looking a little more Halloweekend-y, 57 and sunny.
Just knowing that the week is ending with a weekend at Halloweekends improves my mood all week. :)
