1. All day lockers in the middle of the park. It's nice having them right when you walk in so you don't have to carry all your stuff a long way right when you get there. However, if you ever want to get anything out of it, you have to walk completely out of your way to get it. There is nothing that those lockers are on the way to. You might as well walk to your car.
2. Shade over the Dragster grandstands. Those things get hot when the sun is out.
3. Signs throughout the park (one on each midway) telling which rides are operational, and how long the wait is. Nothing like walking halfway across the park to find out MF is either closed or has a two and a half hour wait.
4. A special section in the parking lot for season pass holders or Joe Cool Club members.
5. I don't know if this is feasible, but installing the hydraulic lap bars (like the ones on MF and Dragster) on Magnum might make it a little less painful.
6. Floorless style trains on Mantis ;).
7. This would never fly, but removing seatbelts from as many rides as possible. Based on how the hydraulic style lap bars work they seem to be failsafe. The seatbelts are very nice, and I am sure they would hold you in just fine if the lap bars failed, but has there ever been a case where they have failed? Not that I have heard. So many more people would be able to ride if it weren't for the belts. They could at least make them longer.
8. A Huss Land of Giants. Either in Frontier Town or in place of Disaster Transport.
9. Oh yeah, get rid of Disaster Transport.
10. A large "food court" type building with a tables and air conditioning. A large variety of your usual park foods (funnel cakes, pizza, hot dogs, cheese on a stick) at one stop, and a nice cool place to sit, eat and relax.
Edit: I never quite remember how to make the smiley's work.

2- Which queues are completely shaded over? NONE
3- Is walking that difficult?
4- Maybe parking lot not big enough to justify that, especially on weekends and holidays
5- Leave Maggie alone
6- I'm SURE CP wants to invest millions of dollars into converting Mantis into a floorless
7- Seatbelts are there more for additional safely precautions. CP goes the extra mile with having seatbelts in some of the dumbest things (Giant Wheel for one) but they have their reasons. Safety, stupid guests, and lawsuit happy lawyers would be some of the reasons I'm sure.
8- No
9- Leave DT alone
10- Issues here would be where they could build this

No flame intended here (or maybe there was) it's just that when you've been on this site forever you see these threads over and over again and they get rather old after a while.

It's all about getting around the barrels, or over the fences, right leads, no faults, fastest time and looking pretty when done. What's so hard about that? :)
8. Good ride - I wouldn't mind seeing a high profile flat ride.
10. I like the thought, but I'm not sure of the logistics. In a way, Midway Market meets this need ... but I see what you're saying.

8. I think we may see a new giant flat ride soon wether from huss or chance, la revolution, but probably not the whole land of the giants.
10. It they were to do this It would probably replace one of the huge picnic shelters at the front of the park.
I can't beleive no one mentioned Fascination or a good dark ride!

3. This would be very nice! I could see this happening in the future.
6. Hey everyone, see he put the wink after this one?
7. So you're going to trade the chance of people getting seriously injured, or even killed for the ability for people riding a ride?
------------------
Sunday, Sunday, Sunday! Are your ready for some speed? We've got 120 miles per hour! Are you ready to get vertical? We've got 420 feet. Are you ready for the tallest and fastest rollercoaster in the world?! ARE YOU READY FOR TOP THRILL DRAGSTER?!?
Besides that--if you took a 10-15 minute walk for a ride that had a 10 minute line, would still be 10 minutes long when you got there? Especially when signs throughout the park advertise the same short wait, causing a convergence on that given ride? Even if 100% accurate, the system could create and then fail to fulfill expectations...and perception is everything. I say nay to #3.

4. I find that if you get to the park before noon and you go all the way up to the front of the parking lot there is usually a decent amount of parking spaces because all of the tourists figure it'll already be full. Some days the middle of the lot is full and there is litterally a hundred or so spaces, and you can see your vehicle clearly from many rides.
5&7. If you use your seatbelt properly Magnum isn't bad at all.
9. Where else can you go to Alaska so fast and cheap?

CP 2K3: 10
7. I don't agree with taking out the seatbelts, but I do agree they need to make them larger. I don't see what the safety benefit is of a short seatbelt if the lapbar goes down fine ex.. MF has a pretty short seatbelt and sometimes i wonder if it will fit, I'm not fat but i'm a big guy and it is almost too short for me.

"This second hill is my favorite part of the ride. It is so Cool!"
TTD Status: "Contaminates in the system" S.K.
But all the rides should be left alone, all the rides have alot of visitors and long queu lines and you shouldn't change anything good to make it good. Mantis always has a line that is an hour long, Magnum will never run out of visitors, and Disaster Transport was never a walk on for me. The last three times I visited Cedar Point, the line was at the door.
The seatbelts don't bother me to much on any of the rides, but the lap bars aren't completely fail safe as I found out on May 23rd. Though they are dependable I guess.
But instead of taking out roller coasters or modifying them, Cedar Point should make more roller coasters and more flat rides. Maybe another stand up, since sit-downs are so common, why not make a stand up a common coaster. All the Bolliger/Mabillard(sp?) stand up coasters are all the same with different sizes and elements in different places, I would like to see another company make a stand up after the whole group of B&M stand-ups came.
Or they can make a rollercoaster with longer ride time. Instead of shooting for tallest and fastest since they already have it, go for most inversions and longest roller coaster. I just love to go upside down on Raptor.
One thing I would like to see change is how they put the chain linked fence on Iron Dragon, I don't know if it was originally there or not, but it makes the ride look like it is neglected.
One thing that really makes a difference to my visit is the appearance of the park, when everything is freshly painted and looks new or recent, it makes the ride seem brand new, like Raptor or Mantis.

Life has it's ups and downs, might as well make it on a coaster!
liebevision - X-Flight at SFWoA is actually a Vekoma Flying Dutchman and not a B&M flyer. The only B&M flyers are AIR at Alton Towers and the three(?) Superman: Ultimate Flights. If you loved X-Flight, you'll likely love the B&Ms even more, as most people say they outdo the Vekomas.
