??? Capacity

No big surprise here, but there's going to be a whole lot of tweaking in regards to capacity. I noticed somethings I wouldn't expect when it came to moving pairs of trains around. There was around 5pm when two trains were sitting in the unload station. The third train was already at the launch point. Soon, the first train in unload rolled all the way to the first load position. It wasn't until that train stopped when the second moved forward to the second load position. Why didn't this train start to roll as soon as the first train cleared the first unload position?? I expected the two trains to move together. This is the kind of tweaking that has to be done. Now granted, one day of non-typical operation is nothing to go off of, but I would think that Intamin would have learned this stuff from the first months of MF station operation back in '00. Same sort of thing will have to occur with TTD.

As much as we were saying "is it May yet" this winter, I think we'll be saying "is it June yet" when it comes to TTD's growing pains.

I would assume the ops will have more "practice" tomorrow for Longaberger day as well.

Regardless, I'll be there for JCC entry on Sunday and will wait as long as it takes for my ride. Don't know if I'll be going for a re-ride as it will depend on the length of the wait.

I'm looking forward to my husband's first ride on Wicked Twister now that he's dropped 40 pounds.

In the Detroit Free Press, today there was an article about TTD and it stated that TTD will have 5cars per train starting around Memorial Day.
