I gottchya! The girl at the counter never mentioned the fries and drink with the burger. I will keep that in mind for next time.

As for the pavillians and coolers, yes I am a weekly visting season pass holder and no I do not bring along a cool for two reasons:

1.If I am in the back of the park and am thirsty or hungry, I don't want to have to walk all the way to the front for something.

2.Coolers are just a plain pain in the @$$ to lugg around.

For me coolers are more of a hassle than they are worth.

I think it is intresting that CP does not give out straws and lids with fountain pops anymore. IMO they are almost forcing you to buy the souvenier plastic containers, or bottled containers. A truly sly move by CP.

I think that has more to do with safety and litter control than anything else. I don't think it's a marketing ploy.

Vince, I beleive the menu sign also indicates you get fries with it...or maybe it just says "combo" (which in most cases means it includes fries).

ok so by all the responses, I'm guessing Cp isn't as bad as SFWOA, and I'm only going to eat maybe twice and maybe a snack, but thats it. So I'm guessing 30 bucks would be enough for 2 days right?

Depends on your "snack" and where and what you eat. My son and I got a "snack" which was two orders of cheese fries and two pepsi's. That cost us $11.

Combo at parks here on the west coast means with fries...high priced drink sold separately. And of course they have only the 20 oz. cups so if you are really thirsty you need to get the souveneir cup!

At CP the combos (called value meals at CP) do come with the soft drink also.

You could always do like me and eat when before you arrive at the park and then eat again after you leave (the burger king on the way out is now 24 hours).

Sometimes I might grab some fries or a snack during the day but that is usually it. Then again, I do like Macaroni's, but that is a luxury, not a neccessity.

I too am a Joe Cool Season Pass Holder from the Detroit area.
