Apparently it is being moved to MIA and being replaced by a sit-down restaurant.

I've also heard that Troika and Chaos are being moved to other locations in the park, but haven't found out anything for sure.  Does anyone know if this is happening, because with those three rides being moved/eliminated, that would mean quite a bit of free space.

I personally enjoy all of those rides you have mentioned. I don't mind the dodge-em's by the magnum being removed because I'll just ride the other ones. If they do end of moving the Troika and Chaos than it would free up a lot of space. New ride maybe? One can only wait and find out.

Troika and Chaos are NOT being removed. It was just a rumor started a while back. Cedar point also does not have any plans so far as what will take place of Dodgem 1, at least thats what they say.

I wonder if it willl be one of those late announcements like Johnny Rockets was last year.  I don't even remember what date that was announced on, but its probably getting late even for something like that.

Too bad the one by the Wildcat wasn't being removed.  That one's an eye-sore.  It's so '70's!  I always liked other one by the Magnum, hidden in the trees.

yes i have to agree i like dodgem 1 a lot better than dodgem 2. In my opinion, dodgem 1 is in a lot better condition than dodgem 2. I guess my opininon really doesn't count due to the fact they are taking dodgem 1 away from us!

Yea, hopefully since they decided to keep the Dodgem by the marina entrance they'll fix that one up a bit.  Last year it was looking pretty sad with some of the letters missing and others being painted on.  Its in a very prominant spot (kind of at the hub of the park) so I would think they would want it too look decent.  I agree with Gina and CP cyclone that the Dodgem 1 building was nicer.  I'm not so sure about the cars though.  My feeling (and Rideman has said this also) is that if they were sending half of the cars to MIA and they have no immediate plans for the Dodgem 1 spot, then they should have split the cars up between the two buildings because there were way too many cars in both of them. :)

I like the 70s look of Dodgem 2, and the cars always seemed to run better than Dodgem 1. By better, I mean faster and more responsive. I'm glad they kept Dodgem 2, it was definitely the better one in my opinion.
