I have heard that Cedar Point will be getting a Flying Dutchman roller coaster to be located in the center of Frontier Town where the car ride now sits. It is supposed to be bigger and longer than the one at Worlds of Adventure. This informatiion comes from an adult full-time employee. Rumer? Has anyone else heard this one? Interesting at least.

Seeing how Vekoma is in bankruptcy.. I wouldn't count on it.. They are finishing projects they have right now and nothing new last I read.

Not to mention.. overall reviews of Flying Dutchman rides seem to be pretty bad.. I hated X-Flight.. Only ride it if I'm at SFWOA with someone who's never been on it, and that's it.

If you're going to fly.. fly VertiGo.. Thank you..

I agree with Rob, I highly doubt CP would go with Vekoma in the first place.  If they (the park) want to fly I think they'll opt for the B&M version.

Lets see, Vekoma, B&M...who's the third one? Are they new to this Flying stuff, or am I having a retarded moment?

I'd say Arrow or Setpoint. Arrow's 4th dimension could definitely be considered a flyer.

I think that LeeUK said that Alton had a 3 year contract with B&M where the prototypes can't be built anywhere else for 3 or so years.

Enough with the contracts already. I find it amusing (as do the parks and manufacturers) how enthusiasts know all about these alleged contracts.

That was what i was told in release from Alton Towers this summer. But i have been told otherwise since, so maybe not..

Alton have in the past held exclusivetivity on there B+M rides, Oblivon for example

But i cant say for sure, and jeff, i never said it was gospel. Just passing on what i heard. still we all know we cant believe all we hear.

Still we are for sure getting B+M's 1st flyer, and seeing the site last weekend, its looking like one awesome ride the worlds gonna talk about (we hope) barrel rolls up now, and lift hill of course, stations nearly all in. loads of pix on net if anyone hasnt seen and interested.

Let's just see what kind of train B&M has at IAAPA, and what they're trying to sell.

I'm still putting my money on a floorless car (from SFNE maybe) and a flying car. Although, the shipping on that for just one show could be quite expensive unless a US park installs a flying coaster as well next year. Time will tell soon enough.

Dont remember claiming that i know it all? Or in fact that i even know anything. Just wrongly thought that some people here might possibly be interested in Coasters over here in Uk? And the new ones we are getting. But i forgot USA will always be one over on us. My apologises for missing that.
