Presently, at 7:03am, there is a worker in that side-car going down the Millenium Force lift hill.

And at 9:26am I am taking my first trip to the office men's room after cup of coffee # 3

MIllie seems to be getting up the lift hill quicker....hmm........

^You got me to look. 🤣 I wasn't sure if I paused it or it just stopped mid way up the lift. Then I realized it was actually moving! That would be a long ride up!

cant tell if the cable is still there for the lift hill or they have a new lift system in place... I saw the catch car go up and down.... I wish tony would show us what was in the envelope because I think it pertains to millie.

Another possible reason is that the next block is clear, so the train climbs the lift at full speed. If you notice when climbing the hill on MF, it starts slow, then speeds up towards the top of the hill. This is because the block after the hill (which iirc is the magnetic portion of the final brake run) isn't clear yet, so the train climbing the lift will go slower until the train clears the brake block, and enters the unload station. This usually only occurs when they're running 3 trains. When running 2, the train will climb the lift faster because there isn't a 3rd train to cause a stack. That's just my thoughts, although I could see them replacing the lift system, maybe revert to the old chain system. Chain lift technology has improved big time in the last 10 years, look at how fast Fury 325, and Orion climb their lifts. Plus nothing beats that anti rollback noise.

Seriously, it was so slow, I honestly couldn't tell if it was moving. I bet it took all of twenty minutes to make it up the lift. I'm sure they're just checking things. But I've never seen it move that slowly.

The cable lift system is still in place. I’m sitting here watching MF test and I honestly don’t see a difference in speed up the lift hill from last year.

Yeah, they were probably testing things when I was watching. Going so slow you could barely tell it was moving.

Two new views this morning:

Cam 1: Valravan is center and you can see a good part of the park and midway on that side.

Cam 2: Gemini midway is centered and can see all the way back to frontier town and the first turn of magnum before the lift.

Eastward cam recently moved, I guess they're gonna show the fireworks to us.

Looks like they're running just about everything today as they prep for opening! East tower is still facing over Kiddie Kingdom, saw GateKeeper run and looks like the lift is running too! West Camera is overlooking Frontier Town and you can see Maverick running as well as Millie. I can't wait to go this weekend now! I could sit here and watch the cameras all day!

Yeah, I noticed that! I wonder if a bird or something knocked the camera over? There's not a whole lot to see when it's pointed straight at the ground!

Years ago I could have sworn I saw that view, and based on the obstructions its inside or under the top framing so it must be there for something?

Based on the software back-end I've poked around on the public facing webcam feeds they are directing cctv or monitoring camera footage into a web-server thats streaming what we see so they could likely send any camera in the park to it.

Still haven't been able to uncross these circuits...

Good to see cars coming in and parking. How are the new tollbooths ?

I thought the park opened at 11. Who are all the people walking around right now? It's 10:20.

They start admitting people at 10am, this is to prevent congestion at the front gate. However, rides do not open until 11.
