RMC Streak Photo Update - May 7, 2017

Is anyone playing the Battle for CP game? Are there any signs in Palace Theatre that would show Augmented Reality for the game? Considering that Blackjack references Lusty Lil's, maybe worth a check.

Can't check myself... in D.C.

...I know it's unprecedented for a Cedar Fair park to install new rides in addition to a new roller coaster, but considering that they appear to be going for a revitalization of the area as a whole....

1964 Blue Streak & Calypso, also 1969 Mine Ride & Antique cars, even more: 1972 Jumbo Jets & Matterhorn.

Nope there's precendents, just not recently. There fixed that for ya.

Time to do so again! Fingers crossed, but either way it looks like next year will still be worth a visit.

Don't forget Pipe Scream and Lake Erie Eagles in 2014. (I know, but CP counts Pipe Scream as a coaster.)

On one hand, CP is spending so much on The Coaster Formerly Known as Mean Streak that I doubt they add much more. On the other hand, they redid the entire area around Gemini at once, so they might redo the entire area around TCFKAMS--and that might include a new pathway and flats

I know some of us debate whether or not Pipe Scream is a roller coaster, but I'm sure ALL OF US can agree that Hersheypark's new water coaster is NOT a roller coaster!

1999: First visit
Halloweekends- Harvest Fear, Tombstone Terror-Tory
Ride Operations- Professor Delbert’s Frontier Fling

^^ Agreed x10. They are not. Nor should they ever been considered.

I don't care what they call it.

That said, they called it a "coaster", didn't use the word "roller".

Looks like CP Rundown did a better job of capturing the entire "Blackjack" poster than I did: https://m.facebook.com/story.php?story_fbid=1483328778426889&id=349928541766924

I think Digger and Chess are references to two smaller attractions and Blackjack refers to the coaster. There are a couple of clues to support this on the Blackjack poster. Mean Streak beneath, stands tall, beat the odds. Also, Digger and Chess' rewards were much smaller at $875 where as Blackjack was $1000. They stake their claim on the 16th, meaning possibly the 3 attractions are taking their place in Frontiertown. I think Blackjack is the mascot for the coaster as well. Maybe High Stakes, or The Wager, something gambling related.

Here are a couple humorous yet fitting casino/gambling terms I found.

Hot Streak - An extended run of good luck.

High Roller - A player that places high stakes bets.

Actually what you mention is, in my opinion, the most interesting aspect left to wonder about. We have known for a long time that Mean Streak is getting RMC'd, but we have also been teased that in addition to this that Frontier Town as we know it (at least in this general area) is being prepped for a face-lift of some degree. Does this just mean a new landscaping, or does it mean more than just this updated coaster?

These posters either elude to the names of the trains, or the idea of more than one attraction coming. While I would bet on them all being related to the new coaster, it is possible that more than one new attraction is in the works.

Promoter of fog.

The poster with Blackjack mentions his "Winnings" as well.

Interesting that digger and Chess rewards are 875. And black jack is 1000. Just maybe blackjack does represent MS2.0 Could digger and chess represent a new Twin coaster since they both are listed 875? Clues mentioned right side on one poster. Maybe that indicates location of new ride in reference to the new MS2.0. Just some thoughts. Still could be couple flat rides. But just maybe a new RMC raptor track deal was struck with the RMC revamp MS deal.

Are there any markings around Gemini lol? I mean it's always possible that Gemini gets RMC'ed and the entrance gets pushed off to the side close to R&D and RMCMS and becomes part of Frontiertown. And those will become Chess and Digger. Or Gemini could just be getting that rebranding without the RMC makeover. Or knowing how RMC raptor coasters have low capacity, Cedar Point could have ordered two dueling ones for improved capacity.

I know all three are very unlikely, but anything is possible.

Not to drag this topic out but they are branding it as Hersheys "14th coaster" why? I don't know

in a week will know all the questions to the answers and than people will be complaining about everything they don't like about the announcement lol

AJ1, I'm glad someone agrees with the name Posse. I suggested it a few months ago. Wanted posters. "They're coming! The sheriff. It all goes together.
