I'm bringing my 8 yr old son for the 1st time. He's excited about MF more than any other ride but I really wanted him to experience dragster in the front seat. Oh well, if it's down, we'll be disappointed but there are plenty of other rides to enjoy. We have platinum passes at Holiday World and it's a great park, but they have a very limited number of rides. He's gonna be blown away with all the rides to choose from up there.

I wonder when it will be in the companies best interest to just scrap the motor and add the 2018 model? (Assuming there is one). This ride still blows so many people away I can't see how it wouldn't pay itself off just in happy customers that don't go home sad/angry they didn't ride TTD.

I was thinking the same thing. At what point is enough enough. Even when we went to customer services everyone in their would roll their eyes and go "yeah tell me about it". I was thinking maybe they do a launch system like Maverick or the new launch coaster that opened over seas. Id love to know from the time the ride opened the amount of down time to actual open time. I dont see CP taking the ride down

Just sitting here in the marina and thought I would share that Dragster is making test runs this evening.

Looks like they are running loaded trains now. Back up and running and hitting regular intervals.

TTD was having issues during CoasterMania! Late ERT, too. I think a couple sets of fins weren't retracting at the end of the launch. 2 of every 3 trains were rolling back. Sorry to hear she's having so many issues this year...

I know TTD is 14 years old and this wouldn't apply, but do these coasters have any warranty period when new?

That's only if CP took the extended warranty.
