I'm from Boston and was wondering if they hire anyone from out of state

Yes, Cedar Point hires people out of state. Cedar Point has housing for those who live more than 30 miles from the park. There is a bus (even though it's not the greatest form of transportation) to those without a vehicle.

Only place I've ever heard of having relevant experience counting against you is WWF/E... And even they are changing their outlook on that subject.

I'm from Pennsylvania and I worked here this year. In fact, a very large portion of employees are out of state.

I'm from Atlanta, GA. I've been working for 3 seasons. They def hire out of staters

There is a mixture of employees from Ohio, out of state, and internationally. There are minors / other Ohioans who live close enough to drive to the park daily.

I know they're in there somewhere. If I'm lucky, I'll run in to one or two during a visit.
