Ride Warriors Club Initial thoughts?

Redwolf

While waiting for official announcement of advantages and or benefits, are you yeah or nay? I am leaning towards yeah, but still need to know exactly what we are the specifics of the club before final decision.

If I were closer, I'd be a lot more interested. I just wish they would announce CoasterMania details so I could figure out if that trip is in the cards or not...

I am leaning toward a nay. Sounds interesting but I don;t care about the video stuff. The one use fast pass isn't enough of an incentive. I am retired so the extra ERT times isn't as valuable to me as it would be to others. But I will review it when the full details are out.

Nay for me. Don't get me wrong, I would LOVE to- if I lived a little closer and had a season pass, went a whole bunch during the summer like some of you (lucky duckies) can, I'd be all over it like white on rice. BUT, my lack of transportation and funds means I can only make it once a year. Not really worth the extra cash for something I can only really enjoy once. :C I'd recommend it for regular visitors, though. It sounds super neato.

That's exactly my predicament. I only take one trip to Cedar Point each year due to it being so far away, but I'd be all up for it if I was a regular visitor.

It's a no go for me. I'm a pass holder and I live close to the park, but I want to wait to see how the inaugural season goes before I invest. Maybe next year.

Well I work at the park so there is little benefit for me. I am not going to take up one of the limited spots If I can't use it. I will definitely consider it if I ever stop working at Cedar Point though.

Im curious as to all the benefits. It carries a premium cost so there should be some very exclusive benefits that you cant get from being a member of another coaster club. The benefits that will be stated will not be an end all. As this is new, they will continue to refine it as the year goes. As much as we go to the park, Im sure we will do it.

^^^TheBestPlaceOnEarth, I love your last sentence. It is the exact same quote from Coach Izzo:

"Maybe next year"

Most of the events are 2+ hours before the park opens. I have a Platinum Pass, but my daughter has a season pass. I'm wondering if RWC grants early entry on those days.

Those Coffee & Coasters ERT's are cool, but they're only on Saturdays, and we almost exclusively go during the week, so other than the 2hrs of ERT, the rest of the day runs the risk of being hella busy. And they Fastlane passes don't really offset that too much since they are essentially just line skippies that you get from Tony's tweetups, and my wife has some kind of crazy gift for being able to win (at least) one 2 person line skippie from Plinko every time we go... so even at $10 per Plinko game, it doesn't really math out.

Im sure it will appeal to some, but for us, the value just isn't there...

There'd be a lot of added value if the Fast Lane passes were Fast Lane Plus passes. I would almost exclusively join just for the Fast Lane passes if they were the Plus variety.

The Plus doesn't matter- 4 vouchers for one time use on any Fast Lane ride.

I wish I had talent like that. Could you get her to drop the ball for me?

Yeah, these aren't fast lane passes like you can purchase.
Each of the four vouchers you get with your membership gets one person into the fastlane entrance of one ride. It's up to you if you use all 4 for 4 separate rides in one day, the same ride 4x in a row, one voucher on 4 different visit, whatever. But yeah, its one time on one ride for one person

Haha she loves to play it, so I'm certain she wouldn't mine (as long as you were paying haha)
