I know. It exclaims, 16 slices! of "American Slices". Yum.

As for me, I'll stick to actual cheese, even if that means Culver's wants 10¢ to upgrade to cheddar. :)

You can't go wrong with 16 slices of not-cheese!

I may not have good taste in wine, but I love a good cheese.

I'm cheap in many departments and there have been lean times but there are some boundaries I don't cross. Cheese slices that don't contain cheese is one of them.

Cheese slices in my house come from the deli, where they're sliced just the way I want.

Oh I'm not always a crazy alcohol snob, but some of the boxed wines taste terrible, or like juice, just..no haha.

A good ~$20 Merlot, Cab Sav, or Riesling and I'm alright. I've had some more expensive wine from places and it's good, but not always necessary. Like one guy I worked with had to have a bottle of Dom to toast with. I honestly couldn't tell the difference between that and my usual bottle of Sparking Wine/Champagne I get.

There are some nice boxed wines out there. Truth be told, I usually buy bottles of wine but sometimes I'll go boxed if it's a decent wine and on sale. As noted above though, my wine finesse is pretty much limited to "tastes good" and "yuck". But I think boxed wine is inherently funny, like sushi from Walgreen's.

Wall Street Journal used to have a great wine column written by a couple. They wrote once about wine tasting parties they would have. Each guest brought a bottle of wine that was put into a paper bag with a number on it. The wines were tasted, the best wine voted on, and the winner, with few exceptions, was one of the cheapest bottles.

Never mind the booze, kids like STR and love SRF because of the soak factor. Thunder canyon is a lottery for who gets soaked under the water fall. Roll the dice and ride the river. STR is going to dry up like the Atacama desert.

What drink best describes which water ride? SRF is a Long Island Iced Tea... tall and potent, you know it's gonna knock you back every time.

Riding Shoot the rapids is like Near beer, you can remember it the next day and say "never again".

The previous trend was about wine, a alcoholic beverage, booze is a old slang word for alcohol.

And to think this thread was originally about some water ride at an amusement park.

I would love for either Shoot the Rapids or SRF to be replaced by a river battle type ride.
