Track has arrived!

I don't think Cedar Fair would pay money for "teaser tracks" just to hype a new ride.

Those track pieces are props for the new dark ride.

Teaser Tracks? Just when you thought you've heard it all...

Thats not how I meant it. The tracks shown in that forum were used as a teaser to the rest of the track to come. Like here is a sample. But, its clearly not the same sections delivered today.

^^ Hey, for all we know, the tracks by Breakers Express could be made out of cardboard, and meanwhile, in the basement of some office building, Cedar Fair is secretly signing a deal to put an Aquatrax at each of its parks.

Wait a minute, what's this tinfoil hat doing on my head…?

I'm excited, no doubt. The unofficial layout.. Just seems .. So.. Vanilla. Can't knock it until I rock it though. Or at least until we know more ;)

Dive coasters lose steam quickly and aren't able to do some of the maneuvers other B&M's are capable of due to the width. Still, this layout looks better than Shiekra, Griffon, or Diving Coaster - the three most comparable Dive Machines out there.

I'm just hoping this coaster has some serious themeing. I realize that might be the craziest thing I've said in this thread yet...

I was hoping for tunnels or a splashdown element. But I guess the sheer height of it will help make up for that.

We haven't seen any official renderings or artwork yet. I wouldn't rule out a tunnel or splashdown yet.

Sheikra was awesome by CP standards. It is 200ft, so CP going higher?!

Some are saying 223. I think it could go 250. When TTD came out at 420, who thought that would be a short lived crown w Kinda Ka going even higher. They break the records but, they seem short lived.

I don't care how tall or fast it is, as long as it provides a great adrenaline rush!

Agreed -- Maverick is my second favorite coaster at CP behind Millennium Force. It's certainly not tall, nor terribly fast, although launching out of the tunnel is quite fun. :)

Don't know if anyone has already noticed, but RCDB has added the new coaster. No pictures yet, however.

It's not just about the sheer number of thrills
(Pssst, we're adding another roller coaster.)

And it's not always about the numbers
(It'll be record breaking. Look at these numbers!)

It's about the complementary nature, the diverse variety of
these machines of varying height and speed
(This steel B&M will be unlike any other steel B&M in the park. The trains won't have a floor! Mack who? Premier what? RMC? Weren't they a hip hop group in the 80's?)

Close to terra firma, soaring high enough to touch the clouds
Launched, winged, floorless, inverted, out and back
These creations take us to places we've never been
(You're assuming that it will go underground now, right? Right?)

These monuments of modern engineering allow us to forget our
troubles and live in the now
(Making your way in the world today takes everything you've got. Taking a break from all your worries, sure would help a lot. Wouldn't you like to get away?

Whoops, got distracted there for a second. Sorry folks, all the Intamin rides are closed for mechanical reasons.)

These experiences are unmatched
(Our dive coaster will be different than all the others, we promise.)

And this history, this legacy, will continue here at
The Roller Coaster Capital of the World
(Psych! Matt had a 2-for-1 coupon on water slide complexes so we're copying Kings Island and expanding Soak City in 2016. That dive coaster track is actually headed to Canada's Wonderland. We're sneaking it across Lake Eerie to keep things on the down low. Please enjoy the rest of your day here at...what's our tag line this year?)

^^^ CW already had their announcement this morning (Larson Flying Scooter and what appears to be a Gerstlauer SkyRoller or something very similar) so the dive track must be on it's way to MiA...

That, and if there was your sarcastic "2-for-1" water park ride deal, the other park is Carowinds. They're getting a major water park expansion with the removal of Thunder Road.

2 for 1 specials are only redeemable if both packages are constructed within the same state. It's in the fine print. :)
